she is about 12 weeks old. at first she seemed to grow fine, then she started producing three pointed leaves, and when i transplanted her she was almost starting to get rootbound (didnt do any cutting, looking back maybe i should have) that was 4 weeks ago. got her in a 12 gallon fabric now. lots of room.
she started taking on some yellowing and some leaves turning brown and dying. couple spots have yellow tips, some clawing of the leaves.
i keep reading about it thought was toxicity of nutrients stopped feeding her - but maybe its a deficiency?? or maybe a mix of things going on?
i dont know her strain she was a gift.
other things - her stem is solid purple except for the new growth areas not sure if thats her strain or an indicator of her health problems. if someone can give me advice on how to save her, ive put a lot of time and effort into her - this is my first attempt i did a lot of reading (i guess not enough).
PH has been around 7 i use vinegar to lower it which i read was OK now im not sure (didnt have too much money going into this sorta stuck using stuff around the house whi h obviously didnt go too well)
no measurement on PPM i guess thats for nutrients? didnt even know that was a thing to measure didnt see that anywhere in my readings

Answer these simple questions the best you can.
If you do not know, or do not use something; Just say so; Or post

-What strain, Seed bank, or bag seed (photo or auto)

-Method: Soil w/salt, Organic soil, Hydroponics, Aquaponics, KNF
-Vessels: Pots, Grow beds, Buckets, fabric pots
-PH and TDS of Water, Solution, runoff (if Applicable)
-PPM/TDS or EC of nutrient solution if applicable

-Co2; Yes, No
-What strain, Seed bank, or bag seed (photo or auto)
unknown strain was given to a friend by a professional grower already sprouted.
-Age of plant/what week of flower
i got her around two weeks and have had her for twelve weeks
-Method: Soil w/salt, Organic soil, Hydroponics, Aquaponics, KNF
shes all soil, i accidently used a slow release soil at first but was able to transplant and get most of it out and used store brand plain potting soil.
-Vessels: Pots, Grow beds, Buckets, fabric pots
shes in a fabric pot
-PH and TDS of Water, Solution, runoff (if Applicable)
water ph i use a soil tester (i have one in the soil and one i use to check the water before i water) water ph around 6 or high 5
-PPM/TDS or EC of nutrient solution if applicable
i have some bud juice solution ive been on and off using but thought curling tips was a toxicity issue (thought mb remaindwr of slow release soil w the nutes might have been too much) so i stopped that last week
-Method used to measure PH and TDS one of those 3 in 1 soil testers i stick in the water
-Indoor or Outdoor if indoor, size of grow space
its a 3x3x6 tent and its only her
-Light system LED, MH/HPS/CMH/Fluorescents, or other
300w LED
-Actual wattage draw of lights
-Current Light Schedule
i have it 24 hrs thought mb was light stress too cuz of that. i read it was fine but mb ought to do 18/6
-Temps; Day, Night
25-26C
-Humidity; Day, Night
60%
-Ventilation system; Yes, No, Size
inline exhaust 4", intake thru vents one bigger floor fan to move air around the base, two clip on fans on her to move air thru and keep her growing strong
-AC, Humidifier, De-humidifier,
none - i have a small humidifier i can use but thought 60rh was fine
-Co2; Yes, No
none
i definirely over watered her earlier on she got a lil droopy for a couple days so maybe ive been a bit sscared with the watering. i follow the rule of thw top two inches drying out and i give her a good solid watering all thru until it drips a bit out the base
thatâs what i was thinking but i read the clawing is a toxicity sign and then the yellow a defi iency sign and then i just get so lost on what is actually going on and how to address it.
Your water in pH is low. If you were growing in an organic mix it would buffer out and not matter but with the potting mix youâve got and itâs many unknowns you should be pHâing your water-in to mid 6âs after you add any nutrients to it.
Youâre seeing signs of all sorts of issues likely because the pH is out of wack and causing nutrient lockout. Do you know the pH of your runoff? Are you measuring PPM?
This model or better.
Tds meters can be cheap and itâs no problem but ph meters are an instance where you can buy cheap but it amounts to more work on your end. They donât hold calibration, are easily damaged and are not waterproof.
Note: not all tds meters are the same. There are 3 or more scales of ppm the 500 the 650 and the 700. What your pen measures will depend on where itâs made (mostly) this is important because not every nutrient company uses the same scale. You wanna match your meter to your nute company. FYI for a lil over 100 dollars you can get an Apera meters that is 2 in 1 for ph and tds (I believe it will handle all scales of ppm) https://www.amazon.com/Instruments-Waterproof-Conductivity-Salinity-Multi-Parameter/dp/B09BK6L9MM
Welcome to the community! This is a very active and thriving forum. If your plant canât get help here, itâs not Marijuana
Thatâs pretty much what Iâve been meaning
It sounds like one of those prone jobs and that means all the ph readings you mentioned are probably inaccurate and could be at least a contributor to your issues
@Deez has got you on cause, that meter will help you track down and prevent issue in future grows.
Here is a video about diagnosing cannabis nutrient issues. (This is the hardest part of growing IMO) itâs easy to maintain but hard to understand. (At least for me)
Here is a video giving a rundown on ph and ec
And another, this by Lex Blazer. I found these helpful. I hope you do too
Iâm gonna tag a moderator to your thread here, I do not know a lot about organically maintaining your ph, sounds like you used vinegar and such, which is not a problem, I just donât know enough to guide you myself. @Myfriendis410 can either help you or knows who on the boards here to refer you to. Iâll help where I can. Your plant looks rough but sheâll make it.
You will want to keep track of the ph and ppmâs of every liquid that you put in as well as what comes out.
Your correct about the look. If itâs lockout then feeding wonât make a difference. You could put a million ppm worth of fertz in there wouldnât matter, if the PH falls into the 5âs or rises above a 7, plant canât uptake them. There is also a process, I donât understand yet, the way a plant eats. There is a process to plant âdigestionâ if it canât access one kind of nute it will prevent it from continuing on in the chain. Wish I understood it better. Hard to even explain what Iâm talking about.
