That beautiful lush plant is a White Widow CBD autobloom. It has no buds whatsoever, but has dense foliage with innumerable branches. I grew this same cultivar 3 months ago with blooms & buds at about 5 weeks. I have 2 other strains the same age & same growing conditions that are covered in buds. Anything I can do at this point? Ideally these should be harvested in 2 to 4 weeks.
Have patience. We’ve seen autos take up to 12 weeks to flower. It doesn’t happen all that often, but it does happen.
Some growers have went to 12/12 with autos to encourage them to flower. I don’t know that it works, but it might be worth a try.
@Treetopper so yes if you wanted to Bud sooner you could go 1212 it will make it flip for sure whether it’s an auto or not you may have to keep it on 1212 for it to continue to Bud but if it’s an auto once it starts budding you can probably put it back on18-6. However I have bought seeds that was supposed to be auto it turned out not being autos. But you said you had grew some a few months back was it from the same seeds or are these different Auto seeds and it may take 12 weeks for it to bloom if it’s an auto but I’ve never had that happen, others probably have, but It hasn’t ever took more than 8 weeks for any of mine. By the way that’s some beautiful Buds you’ve got stacked in there around her. Keep up the good work✌
Some auto misfire. 12/12 should nudge her. Take clones for sure. Last gg that misfired was cloned for 9 generations till i switched strains. After stretch that girl needs a haircut…lol.
@Treetopper these growmies got ya covered!! Nice looking plantie!
Thank you for the help. I’ll try to set up an area for the 12/12 routine.
I’ll try to set up a separate area for a 12/12 lighting routine. You can see in the picture that my current 5 x 8 grow space is full with 7 plants. I want to keep those bloomers lighted 18/6.
beautiful grow space! some really nice plants. I could hang out in that garden for day straight! I love seeing a space filled with different age and strain plants. Its got me dreaming about my future…hopefully
She is a plump beastie! @Treetopper
There are 3 different strains (ILGM CBD mix), but they are all the same age. Grow space = 2 4x5 tables, 3/4” pvc pipe suspended 4x5 rectangle to hang silver Mylar blankets around a n upgraded 2022 Mars Hydro 800 light. My area is in an enclosed & insulated out-building with heat & air. I’m a novice at this and have spent on unnecessary and useless things, but outside of the 2 little fans, humidifier, 5 gallon fabric pots, and fox farm potting soil & nutes, with supersoil added initially, I have a productive set-up. I’m just plodding along & reading everything I can to try to stay a step ahead. Not too into smoking just now, but learning about making gummies and creams for medicinals.
Your 12/12 advice has paid off. I started that lighting schedule December 18th, and these pictures from Jan. 4th show her starting to stretch and bloom. The background CBD Kush were planted at the same time and are beautifully mature.
Now that this (autobloom) girl is finally blooming after changing lighting to 12/12, I do not know how much light to give her. Do I continue 12/12 at full intensity, go back to 18/6, decrease intensity?
I tried 3 clones just before I changed lighting to 12/12. Being new to this, only 1 is still alive & thriving, but if the mother plant is productive, I will surely get more 3rd generations. Obviously I have no experience with these light cycle plants. Now that she is blooming, do I continue with all 800 watts 12/12, or do I try to mimic the end of growing season with less light intensity, or increase time back to 18/6? I want to give her a best chance.
Stay with good light. Typically cut it closer to end. Cannabis can take some light. 12/12 if photo and flipped. Auto can run right with the photo 12/12. If had to prompt the auto keep it at 12/12.
Thank You! Another cutting finally shows signs of life, so I have 2 living clones. Evidently the auto reverted, or seeds got mixed up. I will leave good light 12/12 for the flowering mother plant and keep the babies under full light for a bit, then go 18/6.
Yeah keep it at 12/12 because it might be photo and revert back to reveg. I’ve had autos I had to flip twice
