Looking for some insight on my grow from someone with experience as this is my first auto. Hasn’t flowered yet but yet plant is very bushy and thick. Tomorrow starts my 6th week.
At six weeks your plant is just becoming mature enough to start flowering. Be patient, flowers will come. Show us some photos of your grow.
Welcome to the forum @Rocco1217. You will find all of the help you may need right here.
I’m new to this still trying to figure out how to get around this site. Thankyou for responding to my concern. I have done outdoors very different. I will send some pictures also I made a journal with pics they should be in this site. So just wait it out and be patient.
Some take 2 weeks to flower and some take 12 weeks. Autos are a crapshoot.
There she is I would glady take opinions. Lol
It’s a white widow auto. Feb23 she sprouted.
@Rocco1217 your plant looks healthy. My last grow of Zkittlez auto’s started 1 started flowering 7 weeks in. Others were a week or two behind.
Autos are not my forte, I heard some can be triggered to flower by switching light to 12/12.
I’d go with the suggestion given already, patience is the ticket…
Thanks for the advice appreciate it. She’s under 24 hours of light. Not sure if that was the best option was wondering if I should change to say 20/4? Anybody has done this before?
18/6
She looks extremely healthy. Tuck leaves covering bud sites and in a week or two she should show her bits. They vary, even in the same strain. Check your seed purchase. Are you sure it’s an Auto? Been there, done that.
Flip the light schedule to 12/12, it will help push a stubborn auto
Hi thanks for the advice yesterday. I did tuck In the fan leaves all the flower sites are exposed looks like crap but they are receiving more light inside. Thanks again I was ready to trim a little bit heard it would shock the plant and I didn’t. So many opinions. Will post a picture of her spread out lol.
Defoliation is nerve racking for sure. It took over a 1.5 years before I learned how much to defoliate. I grow both autos and photos and grow and defoliate them the same
I did outdoor last year. defoliation I did couple weeks before and couple weeks after flower. Worked out nice. Autos I hear if done wrong or to much plant shuts down a few days. I thought autos were much quicker from what I seen I’m sure all strands vary. but 12-14 weeks seems like for the white widow my conditions are kept as good as can be. The fan leave tuck definitely exposed a lot. Maybe next auto I will experiment a little more. Lol. Keeping it safe. Thanks for reaching out.
Hi. Yesterday you reached out to me appreciate it. My name is Rocco. You mentioned about you learning how to trim the auto? Any advice. This thing is really bushy may need more then tucking fan leaves?? They just pop up the next day. Lol. Or 2.
What’s up Rocco! Can you post some pics in clear light of the overall plants and I might can mark the leaves that you can remove. When I’m growing autos I basically defoliate them the same as photo periods just a little more selective. I generally clean up the bottom 1/3 around week 3 of veg and selectively remove any above that are stubborn, preventing good air circulation and covering any lower bud sites. I’ll defoliate again in weeks 3 and 7 of flower. I’ll dig though my pics and see if I can find some at the timeframe I mentioned
Appreciate the help. Currently i can’t get in the site having a hard time waiting for a response to my email I sent them. I have a journal under new journals rocco1217. I also have pics in show your grow. Thanks for your help
