Question about Auto White Widows

Is this height normal for White Widows “Autos” at 8 weeks? I’m seeing ppl on here with 8 weeks old plants with full buds! :exploding_head:

Bud envy is toxic. Go for the grow. Always, remember, you can do better, and do it.
Beat the bar. Enjoy the grow, and best to you

She is well on the way to kicking the bar over.

The start of flower is upon you @NCgrower (as you can see by the crowns of pistils)

These white Widow autos are 6-1/2 weeks old.
They are 22" and 20".
Iv’e been using sub-par lighting up until yesterday.
I upgraded to a Spider Farmer SF 7000.
I’m hoping this will improve my yield.

Ok so I dont consider a plant in flower until the pistils (white hairs) begin to crown or button up (the lil fuzzy balls of hair).

This is when I start the flower count. Day one being the first time I notice the ‘crowns’.

The node spacing (space between buds) is awesome. Should be some very nice colas in your future. Assuming they bud up properly and become one long cola

The bigger the better with the Widow as she buds from top to bottom. You got some nice ones that are gonna put some weight on the rack. Nice job, keep up the good work as I have had a few that hit 4 and 5 foot outdoor and the bigger they get the more bud.

Autos are on their own timeline brother. I’m doing wedding cake for instance and I had one plant that was small. One died on me (made soil way too hot) and these two were delayed but holy hell look at them now. My first plant for example was ready seed to harvest 82 days and this one is 85 days in and five weeks of flower. Point I’m getting at is they all have there own phenos and no two plants of mine have been anything close to the same. Just keep LST’ing and keep her growing bro. She’s gonna reward you from the looks of it!!!

I would leave where they are. Only reason I would defoliate is if bud sites are being blocked by big fan leaves or the leaves are “sweating” on each other. Risk for miland even then I would try to leaf tuck first. IMO
Look into lollipopping. I can’t really tell if you have, but it’ll send energy to the upper colas instead of wasting energy on lower growth with less light. This is just what I’ve done and it made a world of difference on this grow.
