Help.. Is my plant flowering?

Gooday friends.
First grow needing help, I bought White Widow auto Fem. here from ILGM.
my plant has been growing for almost 100 days, under 24/0 lights pistils are growing. From what I have read on here this seems a long time for an auto. I was thinking its a photo. plant and not an auto.
Can anyone tell me from the photos, is she starting to flower or still in pre flower. and should I switch the lights to 12/12.
Hoping some one can help, I"ve been happy with the grow so far, but am getting frustrated not knowing what to do now.

Definitely beginning to flower/preflower. Trichomes are the easiest to tell sign. Safest bet, after 100 days too, flip the lights and play it as a photo even assuming it’s still an auto. Shes ready to bloom.

Definitely starting to flower. I have never grow autos so I can’t speak to the timing.

I would change to 12/12. Good luck!

You will love the WW

@Dillo. Welcome to ILGM. :wave:
As the others have said. Starting to see pistils.
Thinking the reason they went so long without flowering is the 24 hr light.
Cannabis needs a dark period for essential plant functions be it auto or photo.
Next time try 18/6 after the first couple weeks from germ and you should see a difference.
And yes. Switch to 12/12 to get them rollin to flower.:v:

Welcome to the community! the positive part of the 100 days is you should have a super nice yield.

Thank you, for the reply. I’ve a lot to learn, but that’s what I am here for.
Will update photos down the track a bit.

One more question, in my grow room I have a almost five week old Gold leaf, it’s a photo, is it to early to switch it to 12/12, it is a bit of a monster…

@Dillo. It would be better to let it go to the 7-8 week mark to give it the full veg time to be able to get the best from this quality strain.
Might want to try a bit of lst to help control the overall end size.
And it would help keep your canopy at a more even height.
:+1::v:

Very nice plant BTW. :v:

Plants look great! One thing to keep in mind, small pots, grow small plants (typically), big pots grow bigger plants (also, pending on a lot of factors).

If you have the time and the room, go big! Just my thoughts.

If your unsure about how to do certain things, feel free to ask away. I’m a newbie about to start on my 3rd grow, but there are more than enough folks here to help.
Good luck!

Thanks Oldguy for your advice. I will give it a few more weeks, it’s gonna be a big plant.
Oh by the way I’m an old guy too, 64 years old. :joy::joy:
Sorry about the late reply, but I’d reached my post limit for the day.

Yes, 64 years young is what I meant… I have learnt a lot from here already, everyone seems so keen to help. I’m sure I will learn a lot more, I’ve grown vegetables outside for years, but growing inside is like a science. happy growing, I hope to have some nice photos to post soon.

I’m the same, I have learned so much about plant biology that it blows my mind. I carry this knowledge into my greenhouse as well. My tomatoes and veggies are really thriving and the guys here are awesome :sunglasses:

I’m coming into winter here now, will have to find some warmth for my room when the lights are off. it will need to be very small as not much room in there. Getting below 60 degrees in there now with no lights on.

@Dillo. That’s a bit cool for the girls.
Won’t hurt them but will slow things down a bit.

I use this one. Works great. But 11x14 room.

This one might be better suited to your smaller space. :v:

Yes, I am looking at similar to the smaller one. My grow space is only 2ft by 2ft by 4ft. I can make it wider by another 2ft with little effort. Which I will need to do to fit a heater in there. There is just enough room for the 2 plants now.
I’m looking at a bigger room for my next grow.
