For me it’s a convenience thing. I’ve hand trimmed for a full day-throw some tunes on burn a few and have at it. Not my favorite, but by no means a bad thing. I’m just interested in the bowl trimmers and how the final buds end up so I figure why not give one a shot  either way it’s all going up in smoke

This helps. Cut off a couple branches today enough for about an hours work.
Trim it and then tomorrow do the same. Makes it less tedious.
I’ve never used a bowl trimmer so I can’t comment on the difference. Thought about it. Especially when there are 5 plants due at the same time. I do like wet trim over dry trim.
Also if hand trimming have a couple of pairs of trimmers around they get sticky.
I ckean my trimmers by putting them in a container with vegetable oil so that just the blades are in it. I leave them in there till day before next harvest. Take them out wipe off with paper towel making sure I don’t cut myself on the blades they are sharp. Spray with dawn power wash let set a minute rinse with very hot water put in drainer to dry till next day at harvest. Glass bowls that get tared up I clean the same way. Oil disolves oil/tar.
Here are the clippers me and the wife like. We tried a few and decided on these. Probably have 10 pair. OMG they are unavailable. All I can say is try something similar or whatever is comfortable to you. If these come bacl in stock I’m going to buy a bunch of spares. Even though after years of use the originals still cut like new. Also thought about electic hand held trimmers.

LoL all my trimmers and cutters are way big for cannabis. Let’s see ya Devine a 30 lb punkin with that toy.

Ok actually I use a hatchet…

But I will be adding a couple of close trimmers. The one from the V word is not really a good fit for my old mechanic hands.

Nice buds! @Highgrow

Do you use the serrated blade or smooth

I have used both. 1 is for wet trimming(serrated if im not mistaken) other is for dry trimming. (Smooth) id have 2 double check the manual but i believe thats correct. Lol i have a sticker where each blade sits reminding me which is which so i dont mess up
