I’m in trim jail. This is the most tedious and mundane part of growing your own weed. I’m trimming with scissors and wish I had a better way to make this happen.

Some people use bowl trimmers depending on how much you harvest. I started trying to spread my plants out a bit. Its a lot easier for me to chop a plant. Wait a week or two and chop another.

I got a bowl trimmer last year…has already saved me countless hours of trimming. I do hand trim most of the colas, but everything else goes into the bowl. Hours of work done in a minute.

Bowl trimmers are great. I don’t use it to trim my big buds. But for all the rest I use it. It’s quick and if you don’t overload it and operate it slow it will make your experience more enjoyable.

It does not get better either. All u can hope for is nice tight buds, no foxtails. Denser and better the bud, easier the trim imo

I bought a vivosun 19 inch bowl timer and haven’t regretted it for a moment. I throw in my flower and get nice thought balls of joy… and trim that makes incredible keif.
Well worth the money.

They had a flash sale a couple years ago and a bunch of us on here grabbed one. It is even cheaper now.

Love my trim bowl, 20" bowl, done trimming in 15 minutes, whatever’s in the bowl use to make delightful bubble hash.

Is there any advantage to gettin the 19 inch version? I’m going to order something today no matter what. This is day three of trimming.

I got the 19 inch bowl because it was on sale and for my budget. It makes trimming go fast.
Only con i have is storing the damn thing. It’s huge and awkward.

IMO the 16" will do you fine. I grow about 50 to 70 oz a year (dried) in two grows. Most buds go through the bowl trimmer (I wet trim). I use it less than 20 minutes total for the year.

Trim bowl all the way for me. Saves hours. And you can adjust the blade height to trim as close or far as you want. It has three shims that you can remove for 4 different closeness levels.
