if you have a IPhone you can check out the Photone app and get you Daily Light Integral DLI figured out pretty easily. There is a really good but long topic on here that @Nicky started and is very good information on checking lights.

If you get the app we can help you get it setup. It used to be free but now you have to pay $ 5.95 to unlock the Sun Direct setting which is the best one to use. Here is a screenshot from my IPhone.
