This will be my second grow, still don’t really know what I’m doing most days but I’m getting there. There’s a wealth of knowledge on this forum so I’ll be relying on that a lot. I have 1 ILGM Maui Waui and 1 Mephesto ManBearAlienPig. They’re in 5gal fabric with Mother Earth Coco Peat with 4 cups of peralite added. Using advanced nutrients micro, grow bloom as base.
MBAP popped and sprouted in 3.5 days with a helmet head and membrane face.
First MW was a no show so that set me back a week, was trying not to have 3 in my 2X4X6 again this round. Second MW sprouted but had her seed membrane on her head and a confused look on her face like she’d been out clubbing all night, slow for the first 10 days then started pushing out real leafs. Both are short and chunky, MW is 18 days & 3" tall with 4 nodes, MBAP is 25 days old, 9" tall and has 8 nodes with #9 on deck. I’ll post a few pics later tonight.
Bean bath this round I used H202/water, (last time I soaked them in Superthrive for 15 minutes then in water) for 24hrs then into 5 gal fabric pot. I found it interesting watching the seed crack and air bubbles slowly coming out.

Both sprouted with their seed hull still attached and its membrane holding their cotyledon’s closed. I read to put a drop of water on the membrane and let it set for 10 minutes, I tried it and the membrane came off very easily using the non-pointed side of a toothpick to rub it towards the tip. It worked like a champ.
Here they are at 10 days up for MW and 15 for MBAP. Who says watching grass grow aint fun. They both got 8 0z of water with superthrive, gently poured in a circle around stem approx 3" from it. When the top dries I repeat, usually 3-4 days between watering’s.

Ive had the DLI on them at 20 since day 5 to keep them short and the nodes tight. I raised the light this morning to 18" above canopy and adjusted intensity to maintain 20 DLI. I started LST last saturday on MBAP by bending her towards the edge at 45* angle to expose lower nodes. I’ll try something different for MW when shes up to it.

I’m not sure if MBAP’S structure is from my top bending and light manipulation or her just doing her thing despite my tinkering @Cap_Ron
She’s looking awesome! This is also my first time with MBAP, but the two I’m growing share a very similar structure and shape as yours, so I’d lean towards saying it’s probably her typical way of growing. It’s a pleasure to grow that style plant, no worries of the main cola getting light burn while the side branches starve for light.
If they’re anything like most of the other Mephisto plants I’ve grown, get ready for a wild stretch, and a big ass plant!
I think that has begun, shes growing an inch a day for the last three days. She’s got about 3’ of head room right now hopefully she’ll play nice

Not for nothing, but that is a fat ass stem on that girl, and it’s only going to fatten up more from here, lol.
I hope so, as round as she is tall works for me. Most of the side branches are thickening the same way. One thing I found curious was once she got her roots situated and started growing the whole plant started rotating counter clockwise at first I thought I was imagining it so I marked a lower leaf position and tracked it over several days and shonuf shes spinning, 270* there abouts. 
Wonder if we were in the southern hemisphere if shed rotate the other direction like a vortex does

Having songs stuck in my head has long been a curse…I got in a lot of trouble in boot camp, always humming tunes…drill sergeant yell Willy cut the crap then got pissed when I said “that’s how I roll”…did more pushups than I thought possible that day roflmao…ahh ahhh the memories while in the days of my youth I was told what it means to be a man.

Ahhh another Veteran making roll call. Which branch? I get it. I was in Boot Camp during Xmas,'95. I was the leader of the flight,so I would march them around and we had fun with the Jodys. When my guys busted out “all the leaves are brown, and the sky is grey…” I almost got choked up. And many of them have never been to L.A.
I have a post on here talking about how I still sing jodys during mundane activites…riding my bike,gardening, etc.
I get it.

Sounds like USAF, It was a good day when I would be near the flight line near chow time. The AF mess was better than most civilian buffet style restaurants…Army would tell you when, where, what, and how much your gonna eat then give you ten minutes to complete this task lol
