My bro has the above plant which is 14 weeks old. Beautiful, 6 foot tall or more, 5 weeks into flower with over 100 bud sites. If you look at a pic of the buds from week 1 to today, which is week 5 of flower, you would not be able to see a difference. It looks like it just stopped growing. This is his first photo and he’s anal about doing everything correct, (meaning light discipline, 12/12, etc). I told him to pull it already and start over, but he keeps giving it “one more week”. It has done nothing in 5 weeks. Is this normal? Any advice? Thank you.

Hi are the buds even changing color or ripening?. 6’ thats tall for indoors.
One thing comes to mind light energy needed in flower more than for veg. Poor lighting could slow things down.

He has a great light that had to be raised almost daily after the switch to 12/12. The main cola is as close to the light as you can safely get and that same cola looks exactly the same today as it did at week one. I tell him every day to pull this thing, but he won’t listen. I am by no means an expert, but this makes no sense to me. Never seen anything like it. I keep telling him that if he had autos in there, we would be high right now, lol.

What is the temps? Room temp, root temp? I know too high temp or too low temp can stall growth… that is an odd occurance yall got on your hands…

Again, he is anal about making sure everything is good, and he said everything is. I say it’s genetics, but again, I am no expert but that is the only thing I can come up with. But that doesn’t even make sense when you think about it because the plant would not have got this far it the genetics were messed up. I’m lost…

How much defoliation has he done? Indoor 6ft plant needs a looot of breathing room and air circulation.
How are the Trichomes looking. Are they showing cloudy and amber? Are the pistils all turned in and no longer white? If so she’s done she may not bulk up anymore. Good luck sure wish we had some recently pictures. This group has a wealth of knowledge and loves assisting others as much as they love growing.

Without pictures we are shooting in the dark.
But I will say this…
Its hard to believe that multiple plants and differing strains are all doing the same thing. I have seen horribly mismanaged plants still mature and make some mature buds even if only a few grams worth. Never seen a plant that just stopped and didn’t change at all over several weeks. Maturing buds do take time and the changes are slow towards the end.
So unless you can post a photo this is all pointless.
