I got some seeds that said auto flower fast,49 days old in 5 gal pots, I need to know what’s the difference because I feel like they give me the wrong description. By saying auto flower fast not fast Blooming.
@Graysin might be able to explain this better.
I think they are autos crossed with feminine photo seeds.
A fast strain is simply a photoperiod type that finishes a week or two earlier. If that’s the case, you have got a ways to go. Probably gonna be October.
What is the name of the seed bank, breeder and strain?
I replied on the other thread to but a fast flowering autoflower is just a autoflower that has a shorter period from the beginning of flower to harvest. Some are only 7 weeks to maturity some I’ve had not ripen til over 12 weeks. This doesn’t impact size or quality some of my best buds size and thc production finished in 7 weeks. But it’s a guideline really check trichomes. I’ve had Girl Scout cookies that we’re supposed to be 7 weeks one was ready one needed an extra three phenotypes vary same with strains
Answered in the other thread. But short answer is many are in fact photos crossed with autos (lazy way) while others are pheno-hunted.
