She is an auto flower fast growing, Like I said in the previous blog I terminated the seed May 17th. I was wondering if she’s a true auto or fast blooming what’s the difference. I was kind of upset when I found out they were fast blooming because I did not top them like the way you would normally do and also I did not use regular soil instead I use Cocoa core. When I purchased the seeds they said auto flower fasthey did not say they were fast flowering. What is the average time for an auto to start blooming as anybody grown auto before You guys let me know when did your start to Flower. I’m kind of upset because I thought they were autos so I put them in smaller pots and all kinds of different techniques I would have used instead of just letting her grow non topped. Plus does anybody know how to defoliate a non topped cannabis plant.
I don’t see her in preflower yet.
As to autos and fast blooming. I can only go off top quality seeds, ie…ILGM seeds, and they say veg approx. 3-4 weeks and then transition to flowering.
Fast blooming, i think are autos crossed with feminine photo seeds which is beyond my knowledge.
She may be able to answer this @Graysin
Post a full plant pic. Being in coco how are you doing your watering and feedings?
I don’t neither. Full body plant pics would be extremely helpful
If they’re fast flowering plants they will start flowering when the hours of sun light are reduced to around 13 hours and less and reach ripeness a few weeks sooner than your typical photo period plant. From the pics they appear close to showing sexual maturity. If they’re autos they will start flowering regardless of the lighting period . Can you post pics of the seed pack
I do not see any signs of flowering. The first sign is the stretch they will double triple even quadruple in size. Then comes the white hairs. But fast flowering just means it takes less time in the flower stage. Some plants take 12 weeks plus to fully ripen some only 7 weeks. I wouldn’t be upset about less time in flower!
Also I’d highly suggest not topping autoflowers! I’ve ran many test of topping autos vs low stress training. Only 1 out of 20 I’d say yielded more. With limited growth time it normally does more hurt than good with the stunting. I rarely top my photoperiods either normally with photos in my experience lst wins yield wise. But it also depends on the strains some did way better with topping. Every strain is different even different phenotypes vary to. I really only top my mother plants now after many side by side grows of top vs lst. Good lst skills is very valuable. Good luck!
More often than not, yes.
I prefer the fast-flowering strains that have been unadulterated by the Ruderalis (autoflower) genetics. A true fast flower is created by hunting phenotypes from a photoperiod. Some phenos mature more rapidly (are ready to flip to flower sooner) and some will develop buds more quickly. My opinion is that a fast-flowering plant will be quick to reach sexual maturity, and simultaneously will have a rapid bud development.
I have a Cinderella 99 fast-flower from Canuk - I believe it is a true fast flowerer. I also have “early versions” from Delicious Seeds. Those are obviously ruderalis genetics, as some of my own crosses using those Early Versions created autoflowers.
It’s been around Growmie, 2006 and earlier reportings and from coast to coast in North America
