I’ve had a lot of trouble this grow. My autoflowers almost died from lack of good drainage and over watering. I was able to repot them to save them. Then when I was replanting them in their final home, one of the girls fell in half. . Now, the one that was topped incorrectly is starting to look like she’s flowering. This is my 2nd grow and they are in week 5. I’m almost ready to throw in the towel.
Auto flowering cannabis plants are not as easy as advertised Growmie. I grow a lot of auto flowers and the smallest glitch or set back can stall or stunt growth and often times result in early flowering. They really need a great start and for the first 6 weeks above ground. On average my autos start flowering around 40ish days above ground under ideal conditions. Stay positive and and chalk this experience up to learning. Photo periods are much less forgiving, set backs or glitches can be overcome with a longer veg period to recover. Keep me posted and I’ll help you along the way
Hey, thanks for helping me again. I did great my first time thanks to you. Here is the one I think that is in pre flower. She’s so small. Will she make good flower, of she doesn’t hermie?
Whoops, the 2nd plant is a different plant. Both 5 weeks from being planted.
I enjoy growing autos. They are picky ones to grow but when you get conditions dialed in there great producers
Kind of right between sexual maturity and preflower Grow Sis. She’ll do ok and might pull a few zips. She still has some growing to do and add the stretch…might not be as bad as you thought.
This auto was stunted and during flower she started putting out nice fat buds
Some auto strains don’t react good to topping. It puts them in shock. You can have a great harvest without doing topping. This was my last grow no training or topping.
Thanks gromie’s, I’ll keep her going. I’m hoping she doesn’t hermie like one of my plants from last time. The one that messed up the top is granddaddy purple.
I’m not a big fan of autos, but decided I’d try one more time. So far it’s not gone very well. This one is day 17 from breaking ground. It’s still very small. I doubt it will amount to much at this point.
Are you bottom watering this plant ?
Just asking cause it looks like it’s never been top watered lol .
And that’s about the time it would start accessing the zone ,
I always notice a substantial difference in growth like 2 to 3 times more once the taproot reaches the zone ,
I grow outdoors and don’t bottom water and my autos will maybe yeild 2 ounces but indoors they always grow to 3’ or 4’ bushes and I have yeilded 8 ounces off of a few ,one tent was even 2lbs from 4 autos .
I’m convinced it’s because of the bottom watering combined with an ideal environment
These are nearing the end of 5 and 6 weeks
