Whats happening here!? First grow

Hi all,

Growing a Red Poison Auto flower in organic soil. The plant is just over 4 weeks old and I noticed at the begining of this week that some of the leaves were turning yellow. I had only fed the plant once at this stage about a week prior with an organic fert 10:1:6.

Any ideas what might be up with it? The ph is around 6.7 according to the PH probe.

The plants look a bit droopy but that is only because I had just misted it and the leaves are heavy. The plant is generally quite perky!

some photos I just took now.

@raustin can probably help. I’ve never seen one quite like this.

I’m on my first grow and Red Poison auto is 2 of my 4 plants I’m doing. Mine is only a week old though.

could you fill this support ticket out? it would help… welcome to ILGM
what kind of ph measuring device? pen, prong style,or other?

Should make it like a game show…
I’ll take Sulfur for $200.

With a soil probe at “about 6.7”, I bet you have lockouts…starting with iron & sulphur.

Your light height?

Distance from light to plant is 600mm or 24"

I have been misting everyday (sometimes twice a day) and perhaps the light is burning the leaves? Unsure whether LED lights burn leaves…

Hi Countryboy,

yea it is the only plant that is affected. The distance is approx 24" or 600mm from the top of the plant. I actually moved it up about 2" just recently.

I do mist daily so I am unsure whether the water on the leaves and the light has caused it to burn

I am growing some ILGM WWA and they are fine…

done! Thanks for your help!

I agree, Sulphur

Oh, yeah, I didn’t even see that. Duh! You’ve got a sulphur deficiency.

Those soil probes don’t work good you could have a ph lockout and not know it. You need to know ph going in and coming out. If your ph is lower than 6.7 going in then you have a ph lockout

I was thinking light burn, too, but the height seemed ok.

If this was your first time feeding i would try feeding at 25%strength and see if your plant will have a easier time with that. I messed up my red poison auto with feeding at full strength.
