This is the first time I have grown anything. I’ve read a lot (mostly this forum) and find it very helpful but overwhelming. Everyone seems very friendly.
Okay here it is:
Strain; Royal Queen Seeds EasyBud auto
Soil in pots ProMix Premium Potting Mix
System type? In 5 gallon blacked out buckets
PH of runoff or solution in reservoir? Between 6.5 & 7 (Closer to 7)
What is strength of nutrient mix? Planted tap rooted seed on March 10, seedling march 13. Transferred to 3 gallon cloth pot on March 1 with 500ml of water. March 3 500ml of water with an eyedropper drop of 10-15-10 nute. March 7 watered 1 litre with 1/2 tbsp of root booster 5-15-5. March 10 watered 1 L no nutes.
Indoor
Lights 5 100w cfl 5000k approximately 6 inches from top of plant. 18/6
Temps; Day 23-25c, Night 19-20c
Humidity; Day 30-45%, Night approx 30
Ventilation system; Yes, computer fans one intake one outtake
You are off to the races, I am just an experienced general gardener so I can tell you they look like they have more fertilizer then they can take, but the pros will show up soon and tell you what to do…
You will be flowering very soon…
Ease off the nutes a bit, but I could be wrong , wait for the pros advise…``
Thanks for the comments. I have stopped with the nutes. I gave it 1 L of just water yesterday. @Majiktoker What’s the best way to raise humidity? My girl is in a 5 gallon bucket. No room for humidifier. When should I start with the nutes again? I just purchased Flora Nova Grow 7-4-10 and Flora Nova Bloom 4-8-7.
@Majiktoker Yes I have an intake fan fan blowing lightly on my girl as well as an outtake fan to remove heat by the lights.
I will try the dish with warm water. Before I transferred to the 3 gallon pot I had enough room to put a towel soaked with warm water in with my girl.
My lights are approximately 6 inches from the top of my girl.
Ok I got you figured out here ya go. follow the link
Solution to fixing a Magnesium deficiency
Any Chemical/Organic nutrients that have Magnesium in them will fix a Magnesium deficiency. (Only mixing at ½ strength when using chemical nutrients or it will cause nutrient burn!)
Other nutrients that have magnesium in them are: Epsom salts, which is fast absorption. Dolomite lime and or garden lime (same thing just called different) which is slow absorption. Sulfate of Potash, Magnesia which is medium absorption. Worm Castings, which is slow absorption. Crabshell which is slow absorption. Earth Juice Mircoblast, which is fast acting. (a must buy!! Has lots of 2ndary nutrients).
Now if you added to much chemical nutrients and or organics,( which is hard to burn your plants when using organics) You need to Flush the soil with plain water. You need to use 2 times as much water as the size of the pot, for example: If you have a 5 gallon pot and need to flush it, you need to use 10 gallons of water to rinse out the soil good enough to get rid of excessive nutrients.
@garrigan62 So, since I have a 3 gallon pot I need to dump 6 gallons of water into it. Then add a nutrient that has magnesium in it. Do I add the nutrient right after I flush the soil? If so, 1/2 strength in how much water? Or do I wait a few days until the soil is dry then add a nutrient water mix? I have FloraNova grow which has 1.5% water soluble magnesium in it. Thanks for your help.
I assume you are a fellow Canadian? I am just glancing over conditions and advice given I did notice one thing[quote=“HJL, post:1, topic:9703”]
ProMix Premium Potting Mix

I use this soil for my mothers it has a time release fertilizer in it fine for mother plants but will be complicated to flower since the soil you are using has a 9 month charge in Canada. I would transplant personally knowing the soil will not simply flush with an auto the stress won’t be friendly for it.
I use this soil for mothers but start them in standard starter soil and mothers stay in veg for 4-5 months by then a heavy feeder has eaten most if not all of time released ferts. Sadly hate being honest and bearing bad news flushing will release more fertilizer and though ladies may have what looks like def it is actually very bad nutrient burn and toxicity. @garrigan62@Majiktoker not trying to step on toes the ppm on this soil is close to 2000 for first 2 months I fed my mothers now nearly 6 months old only LK for stress after clone cutting and they are now starting 6th month in this soil and starting flower. So speaking from product experience it’s damn hot soil I mixed mine 30% starter 30% perilite and it still lasted months
You know after reading your post Don I see that I did make a mistake not realizing it was an auto. So Thanks is in order. The last thing we want is our members getting bad or mid information.
No Donald you come across something like that I s again you speak up…ok
No problem I usually do buddy just try to do it respectfully all advise given was sound if it were Promix HP or BX not an auto flower as we all know devil hides in details at times and we keep you guys pretty busy I may have moved right past thread based who was helping on it. If not for the possible Canadian connection and soil being same I have
Well to me it’s a good thing you id cause that was an over site by me.
And yes talk about being busy. I was up of two nights in a row trying to keep up. 20 questions for Robert Bergman, 30 questions for Latewood and keeping up with the forum question and answer not to mention my grow journal wow that was a mouth full lol
I help where and when I can being as active as I am many forget I grow in more than just hydro I also tend to avoid well covered topics too many cooks thinking we all have different styles
It’s like you said earier i’ll look and see what;s going on and if i see that one of the members has it covered i’ll give them a quick thank you and move on
Stop feed your plant immediately. Give water till all soil is wet and stay so till plant shows a restart good leaves. But don’t over water!!!
When you can see any growth post some pictures and someones will help you on feeding again.
I’d you want tag me @Teddy78.
Remember that an auto plants with your soil should arrive till harvest without feed and should get discret plant condition and buds .
Overfeed and feeding early is a common mistake in many growers.
Ciao
I think you should read whole thread the soil being used won’t rinse it has time release agent in it and being an auto flower this significant of stress coupled with a flush is quite likely to trigger flowering.
