Hey everyone, I had a quick question regarding what might be wrong with my plant and how I can make sure I don’t ruin my plant in the future. I could be completely over worried, so let me know if I am lol. I keep the plants in my grow tent that unfortunately stays in the high 80s, maybe low 90s(I’ll fix it soon) and I feel like that might be the issue. The leaf that looks a little off look a little burnt. Thanks for reading this far and let me know if possible!!
I’ve also topped this plant for the first time about 5 days ago if that helps
I was going to say it looks like it was topped recently.
Anyway to get back to your original question if you could copy and paste this support ticket into your post and fill it out the best you can it will help us get you on the right track.

if there is a way to bring your temps down wold help your plants 95 is to hot ideal temperature is 77° during the day your runoff is perfect how much do you water @professordank
Let’s let some others comment to try and get you straightened out. I’m still fairly new and don’t want to give you incorrect advise. Your plants to me look pretty healthy so I don’t think you have anything majorly wrong going on with it. It could just be she is a little hungry. But again let’s see what others have to say. @Hogmaster @bob31 @Countryboyjvd1971
@eric2 I water them about half a gallon or when I feel their soil is moist
The plants don’t look too bad to me I see a little issue starting to show
But could definitely be heat related as well ph of run off is at the low end of be acceptable at 6.3 in ff soil
Is it ffof soil that your using ? I would try to get run off up to 6.5 if it was me at The min ? I try to maintain 6.5 ph in soil my whole grow
And how often do you feeding if you’ve been feeding them and how much ppm are you using
Also what’s the age from seed of your lady?
Yes I’m using that soil. How would you recommend i get that runoff PH up? I feed the plant every 3-4 days depending on if soil seems dry. She’s 24 days old! Also don’t really know what ppm is, this is my first grow! @Countryboyjvd1971
@professordank
I suspecting you may be over feeding her
What’s the ph of the water in now that your using ?
For example If your watering at 6.5 and getting 6.3 runnoff out just bump water in up a few points to 6.7-6.8 and after a few watering soil
Ph should udjuat up to 6.5
Also you may be feeding her to much that the soil has a lot of nutrients in it and I know a lot of the peeps don’t start feeding till flower
I also use ffof and I don’t start feeding until round feeder leaves fall off and usually after 30 day sprout/seedling stage
Ppm is the amount of nutrients that either your adding to water at feeding time tds (total desolved solids) or thats in soil already
I’ll recommend you pick up a digital tds and ph meter if you don’t have them already they are a must when growing MJ
Do you have the feeding schedule for fox farms nutrients?
Yes I use a little bit less than the recommended amount on the schedule! The Ph of the water is about 6.2-6.5. I just checked the Ph of the runoff and it was about 5.1 which really sucks!! would you recommend I water them with 7.5 Ph water?
@professordank sorry I’m at work
I would definitely try and get the run off up and that soundsLike a good place to start
Definitely could be a sign of ph lock out starting
Also don’t feed anymore till you get ph issue worked out
What do you use / have to check ph ?
When you checked the PH of the runoff was it fresh runoff or had it been sitting in the tray?
I use the General Hydroponics pH Control Kit to get an estimate as to what my pH is. It had been sitting in the tray for about 10 minutes! @Jmesser80 @Countryboyjvd1971
Ok, just wanted to be sure it wasn’t runoff from a watering a few days ago.
When you check your PH before watering do you check it after you add the nutrients?
I’ve never used the fox farm nutrients but I believe they lower the PH of your water when added so you want to be sure to check your PH after the nutrients are added to get an accurate reading.
@Jmesser80 good point brother
Ok so your using the liquid kit
I’m not a big fan of them but they work I’m shade color blind so that’s a no go for me
Any how I would see about getting a digital ph and tds meter for the grow room they have some pretty cheap ones on Amazon that will be a big help in the garden
Ok brother get the ph in line and you’ll be good
I agree with @Countryboyjvd1971 and @Jmesser80 temps way to hot. And the liquid test is good for swimming pools you should really invest in a digital ph meter your plants will thank you more than you can imagine trust me. I use Fox farm soil and nutes. Right now I have 3 plants in flower that have never had anything but water and Fox farm soils . That’s how strong the soil is. Now my veg time was very short 2-3 weeks from clone ,but this is just a little experiment I’m doing.
I do recommend that you flush your plants with sledge hammer and boomerang as you may have a salt and or nute build up.
@Wishingilivedina420state also has a good point
