I grew photo using LED but was hoping for something different as these autos won’t be growing in a tent so something that’s pretty easy on the eyes If know what I mean. Thanks
I’d stick with the lights you have. If you can’t grow outdoor then indoor light intensity is a must. No way around it. You could get a smaller light but the harvest won’t be what you’re looking for.
Not in a tent? In a room perhaps? U could look into HLG’s… they arent blurple but are bright as heck. Or COB lighting. Cree makes a few… there’s also MH/HPS which are those big heavy watt bulbs uve seen growing weed for years. They give off a bit of heat and burn a bunch of watts tho. There are selections to be had.
How big is this grow expectd to be? How many plants? How big do u want the plants? What kind of space? What kind of budget u got? Is wattage a deciding factor?
Only going to be 2 plants for now, but after 3-5 weeks I want to move outside
HLG-100 or 120. Maybe a bit of overkill for 3-5 weeks. But u can get 2 around 1.5 months EASY… maybe too harvest. I let the triplets stay inside that long. Then ran outta space so they went outdoors maybe 2 weeks ago.

Hey! I’m going to attempt my first grow ever using GSC autoflower and bought a Roleadro 600W LED Full Spectrum light…is that good enough if I’m only going to grow one plant in a 36x36x72 grow tent indoors?
Return it and get a Quantum Board from HLG.
@FrostyBuds, any good reading you know of to compare the diode quality that HLG gets?? I keep reading that their Samsung diodes are the best around… but… says who??
Sorry, no links, I guess it is HLG themselves that say they have the best diodes, I went with HLG for my 2x2 tent.
No stress. I’ll tag you in a bit in a post in my journal. HLG lights seem proven as the best in class, I’m just curious what separates the men from the boys…
Loving the learning though!!
Can I keep the light I bought for the first grow attempt and if I decide to continue growing then upgrade? Basically, will the light I bought work? I know there’s “the better your light, the better your yield, product etc” but for my first time I’m trying to keep it as simple and low cost as possible.
