I have a 3.5 inch sharp stone that I love but is almost 10 years old. Cannot seem to find another with the same size and teeth anywhere!

Some UK friend/farmer I know uses an old hand held food grinder.lol
Seemed like it would work.

We also have a small coffee bean grinder that we use to grind several grams at a time. We like to have about 4 or 5 strains smoke ready at our finger tips.

Keep em coming. Just a stupid topic but and essential piece of gear at the end of the day really.
I must disagree on this…a proper grind (however you achieve it) is crucial for folks that are vaping dried flower and at least fairly important for best flavor when smoking.

Not trying to promote but I have a grinder from dude grows dot com. Badass grinder and it’s a badass sight lol I’m a member. 10 bucks a month and they have raffles every week and month. I got s free 5 pack of seeds today just for being a member. Anyway they have a very informative podcast everyday i listen to. About growing and everything. Sorry I’m rambling just trying to spread knowledge

I feel like if you don’t use a grinder then you just sit and finger f__k your weed. Especially if it’s sticky. With that said, I have a sharpstone and it works. Gets all gummed up after a handful of sticky weed, but that’s to be expected.

I too have a 3.5" Sharp Stone with excellent results when I need/want a medium to fine grind.
This works great for my MV1, not too sure what I will need for the Extreme Q (arriving today). The Extreme Q calls for a much courser grind than the MV1. May just try scissors to start and see how that works.

Ill just use my scissors for the most part if I’m twisting one but for a road trip I’ll use my lil coffee Grinder and put in an old pill bottle. 
. Got a couple cheap hand grinders I use on occasion too tho. Cool thread.

It never occurred to me to use anything but my fingers to break it up until I started vaping flower. I would occasionally use scissors but mostly just my fingers.
