Do you guys keep a coin in the 2nd chamber of your grinders? If so, what coin? I have been reading it helps with kief collection. I figure a dime should suffice in a 55mm…
I also keep the “guitar pick” in the 2nd chamber so I can scoop bud but it’ll be used later for kief.
I have been smoking since 14 but took a 10 year hiatus around 22 and now im back at it…legalization was a big factor.
I use a penny. No grooves.
I have heard heard dimes are better due to the nickel coating (not copper, i.e. taste).
Just what I have read no hard evidence.
Then a nickel it is!! lol

Weed trim bin does better job, collecting kief.
Love smoking kief and bud mixed.
Im looking forward to the bin collection but the grinder is my first experience with kief. Holy hell, that adds another spectrum to it lol
I remember back in the day we used to scrape a bowl for resin when we ran out of bud 
Nowadays if i drop a bud on the floor it might just stay there. I waste and throw away more weed than I ever thought possible. Id throw the pipe away before I would ever scrape resin again. There’s weed and weed stuffs and concentrates all over my house.
I still pick up the dropped crumbs from packing/rolling…ill be at your point soon enough im sure 
I found a bud in my van thats been there since before Christmas. Back in the day it would have been sacrilegious to throw a crumb away let alone a whole bud cuz it fell on a dirty floor.
I always rip my screen out… When I smoke flower I want/need whole flower to smoke not weaker weed with a bonus at the end!( Head since 15 w/ 7yr hiatus caused by useless meat cutting career)
I’m 42 now and that was suggested to me by 1 of my friends that has been smokin for that whole time no hiatus
I just cleaned my rolling area in my garage and prolly threw a quarter of shake out that spilled. Years ago I would have saved every bit

@DieselGRWR i actually use a quarter in my grinder lol, but get most of my kief from the trim i toss it in a frezzerbag for acouple days into the freezer, take it out and rub it out on my trim bin . My last grow was an auto slh from ilgm got 7.5 oz from plant and i got about 3.5 grms of kief from the trimmings
