Plants aren’t very big they’re only about maybe four or 5 in tall got a heck of a lot of leaves on them now though and I’m just starting to wonder at what height do I start doing cuttings on it and I’m not really sure where to do the cuttings on it I’m not new at smoke but I’m new at growing if anybody could post any pictures sometimes and maybe where I do the cuttings at on the plant would really help me sorry to sound so dumb but this is my first grow

Hey @frozensoul Most growers will cut or “top” a plant after the fifth or sixth node of growth, not including rounded cotyledons, has appeared. When I top, I cut leaving the growth at the 3rd and 4th node, and removing all other growth. This will give you 4 branches that you can pull in 4 directions.
Also… I highly suggest starting a singular grow journal and tagging other growers in new posts there. Creating multiple topics regarding the same grow can throw off other growers that may be trying to help. Keeping one journal makes it easier to scroll up and down looking for info. Plus, the mods have to go through and sort out all the topics created and it kinda puts less on them. Just a thought!

I cut above the 5th node and chop everything at the 1st and 2nd which leaves 6 branches to grow. From there i use soft plant wire to pull the taller branches down and outward allowing the shorter branches to catch up. Once everything is within a few inches of each other heightwise then the trellis net goes in to fine tune…im usually around the final week of veg at this point getting ready to flip the lights to 12/12.

Loma my plants are very small right now only maybe maybe 4 or 5 in tall getting a lot of leaves on them and I’m a new grower I’m kind of curious to ask if somebody could post a few pictures sometimes when I’m supposed to start doing the cuttings on it and where I’m supposed to cut I’m not exactly sure what to do I don’t know if you understand what I’m saying but I’m new at this and I don’t know when to start doing the little the little clippings on it you know how you do the cuttings and and where to do it at sorry for sounding stupid but I’m new to all this not new to the smoke but new to the growing process

Basically you can take from anywhere as long as it’s long enough to clean off lower and keep the top growth. Still way too small for cuttings.
I like taking the topping down several nodes and rooting that for uniformity. Make sure to leave part of the node so it can heal up and knuckle to avoid a future split
or you can top and wait to take from bottom. Remove the wispy ones that won’t make it to the top to receive enough light.
There’s no wrong way.
