Water leak detectors

Had a water overflow on my autopot today. Looking to add a wifi water/drip/leak detector that will go to my phone. (I run ACI equipment, but don’t see an option in the brand).

Anyone have one they recommend? And pointers on placement, etc.

Thanks!

This is the issue that has kept me from dabbling in hydroponics. Make sure to share if you find anything.

They make alarms for hot water heater leak detection and basements.
Knock on a solid piece of wood I’ve never had an issue :green_heart::sign_of_the_horns:t2:
But I don’t use auto pots either

Could start here…

Set your Autopots into a large tote to contain any leaks.

Never thought of that!!

Luckily it was only a couple gallons but still a pain to soak up during lights off. I’m going to put the tote under it like @Myfriendis410 suggested. Seems like a great option.

One of those might be good for when I am running RO filter into a bucket…get stoned and forget I am doing that…finally realize I have been wasting water with the bucket overflowing (Only took once just having the bucket on the floor and flooding my bedroom to at least put it in the tub)

I did that after I lost 12 gallons of rez water: mopping the concrete floor in the basement was a bummer.

I went to my local car wash and got a 35 gallon drum for free. Cut part of the lid, thoroughly cleaned it out and that was my R/O supply. @Not2SureYet is using it now.

That would suck big time! Luckily mine was contained to the tent and only a couple gallons.

All the suck right there!

The tote is in place :raising_hands:t2: it’s like lifting a tree trying to get it under there. Thanks all for chiming in! Much appreciated!
