What A Flippin' Mess

Welp, I didn’t know where to put this so watering seemed most appropriate, so here’s your laugh for today…I use my one room basement as a lung room. I’m currently in between grows and have been cleaning, sanitizing, organizing, ect in prep for Grow #4. I also have all of my mid size eBay Items down there. Anywhooo…on to that laugh I promised… I keep my rain water down there in 6-27 gallon totes stacked 2,2,2. Late last night I hear a crash and go looking for the source and low and behold, somehow 1 stack fell over dumping its 54 gallon load, the force of that went ahead and knocked a 2nd stack over dumping an additional 54 gallon of rain water all over my basement and pretty much both tents, and all that kind of supplies, pots, bags, CoCo, perlite, crates, most everything you need to grow. Yay Me! NOT. I’m still trying to get it all cleaned up. I guess it coulda been an actual flood of mud and all that, so I am very thankful it wasn’t that.

I came home from Alberta last year, a day before my wife was due home from Italy. Picked her up and got some sleep. The next morning she went to take a shower: no hot water. I went down to the basement and found that our whole house humidifier lost it’s supply line and flooded our (finished) basement. The water damaged two sensors on the water heater and drilled a hole through the utility room wall, spraying water into our Entertainment center. When I moved the television a quart of water poured out of it. $7,000 later it’s back in shape.

@everyone, it wasn’t as bad as I’d anticipated, although I emptied the big tent and moved it yet to know how much is under there. But used to be that whenever any water got onto that side it would roll on over to the opposite wall, which is now dry. Only 15 of my eBay Items were wet and all glass, so that’s a relief too.
@Mrstraighty Thanks dude.
@Truetopath Ha Ha! You the funny one today.
@Myfriendis410 That sucks dude. My Dad’s bestie has a place here and one in FL. One year the hot water tank on the 4th floor of his place here started to leak. They got home 200,000 gallons later. It had destroyed all 4 floors one after the other. Water company never sent a notice about excessive use, so at least he got paid some back. But he has like 200 HUD rentals and a Maintenance man that could have remedied it had he known. They moved full time to FL. It’s amazing how much force there is even behind a little, in comparison, water.
@Growdoc Not a great big deal. Although I had just finished counting my inventory down there like 3 days ago. Oops! Good to see you.
