Back with a new grow room

Howdy y’all. I was never a super active member in the past but I’m back and I’ve been busy. About a year ago, give or take, I was inspired by @Pharmerbob to upgrade my growing area. It took awhile but it’s ready to grow. I was growing inside a 3X3 shower stall that was packed into a 5X5 “room”. The wife and I gutted our basement and part of the project was to build a grow room. The first pic I’d the the of the basement before the project.

Looking good! How do you like RDWC using 5gal buckets? I was in the middle of building a 4 bucket one but ended up not doing it.

I don’t know yet. I just upgraded from 2 buckets. I do know:
I had to buy a bigger light.
I’ll spend more nutes.
Res changeouts will take longer.
I’ll be making more RO water.

I’m looking forward to it all.

You and me both brother. If it gets too hot with the lights on I’m going to use my intake fan from the rest of the basement for cooling.
I’ve got a humidifier in the middle of the buckets too hopefully offset the lower humidity coming in for the cooling.

I’m crossing my fingers.

LOL. I hear you. It’s not as bad as it looks. That outlet and power strip are on a dedicated 20 breaker. My light and inlake fan are on another, dedicated 20 amp breaker.

I’d appreciate any specific feedback. Thanks

I don’t know if I’d live to finish it.

I currently have 4 girls in peat pots under a humidity dome under a small light. They just broke “ground” in the past two days.

Well done! Absolutely love the progress you’ve made as a grower ! Can’t wait to see some babies in there !!

What’s your plan for plants? Growing plan for seed/clone to harvest?

Thanks man. Ever since I watched you build your room, via your posts n this forum, I’ve been motivated to build my own. As you see I finally got it done. Thanks for the inspiration!

Right now I’m gonna grow from seed as I’ve still got 10 Pineapple Donut seeds from ILGM.

I’ve got four girls (ILGM Blue Dream) that just went into the buckets yesterday.

I do need to start reading up on cloning and I know right where to go. I could never be where I am now in my growing journey without the folks in this forum.

Always glad to hear we all keep you motivated and driven in a direction of positive growth, the hard work and determination was all yours! I can’t wait to see the fruits of your labor.

Ilgm has to have some of the best seeds I’ve ever used! Your neighbors will definitely thank you for the smells

You can split 3k watt in lighting between those2 breakers

Sorry, I’m not sure what you mean @PharmerBob. I have my fan and light on a dedicated 20 amp breaker. That breaker can have a max of 1113 watts.

There rest of the equipment (water pumps, air pump, cooler, etc) is also on a dedicated breaker that would have a max of 1500 watts.

I have two other outlets in there but they share a breaker with a 1500 watt microwave and other items. That breaker is already at 2150 watts. However, 300 of that is the garage door opener which isn’t used they often.

I appreciate the feedback dude
