So I just walked into my room as soon as the lights came on to discover water all over the floor and it was kind of spitting out the top of the AC. I looked in the AC and can see it is full of water. So I had the drain hole plugged so I guess instead of the AC shutting off it just kept rolling until the water found a way out. Now my floor is soaked it is all underneath my reflectiveness sheets. So I hook the hose up to the drain plug and try to drain it but it’s not even draining out the plug at all instead it is just leaking from under the AC and still has a pool in the top of it. I need some advice here. @Myfriendis410 @DanB @OGIncognito @dbrn32 @Retiredoldguy @anybodyyyyy??? Lol thank yall

I don’t have a portable ac but I’m assuming it’s similar to self contained dehumidifier? There is usually a float on the water container that will activate a switch to turn of ac when it’s full. Check to see this didn’t get broken when emptying or something.
If it’s not like this can you post some pictures?

May have been a little pressure buildup from the drain being plugged and forced something internal to come apart.

When I woke up this morning all the water is gone and there is nothing in my drain bowl neither so I’m not understanding where this water went

This is because these units are meant to be mostly self evaporating unless you run them on dry mode. So if the load is low enough there will not be water to remove
