Very droopy seedlings

These 3 purple Kush Autos sprouted 3/29 and 3/30.
I sprouted them in pete pellets and been using tap water for watering.
I soaked the Pete wet and let that soaking dry out before soaking again, usually every other day maybe less.
I did use one time seedling starter mix from Rob Bergman, mixed at a 1/2 gal.
I have them under 4’ T-tube fluorescent light, 4" away. Temps steady at 75* and humidity is at 35%
I just got in the mail today my ph tester and my 320 watt HLG led light. I would also like to know what setting to put this on and how far away .
I have already downloaded the app for lighting and have been familiarize myself with and could probably muddle through setting the light up with a desired setting from info off of that app, really just don’t know what Kelvin or PP?? to get it to

Any help would be appreciated.

To much water let it dry out abit then lightly mist it

You can set those peat plugs on a folded dry paper towel and wick some moisture away.
Cannabis doesn’t like soaked soil.
Lets tag a couple people who might be better help than me on this topic, or at least know who else to tag.

I was thinking it was just the opposite, that I was under watering them. Because I would wait until the Pete was very light weight before soaking again. But you’re saying just the act of soaking the Pete plugs is overwatering in itself.
Btw in these pics the plants were watered yesterday and the soil was still a bit moist so no water today.
I did as you suggested and put some paper towels under the plugs. so just a misting now with a sprayer?

Your plug looks too wet.
I found this guy yesterday and replanted.
Today it looks better and I will mist the helmet head.
Placed into tent today (looks greener today) and now resides on warm seedling mat.
This was dropped into soil a couple of weeks ago.
It will be interesting what the leaves shape out

See seedlings only need a 10-20mls of water for starters and as they get bigger u know the rest

I hate startingnseeds in those peat pods. It’s impossible to keep regulated for me. A solo cup full of soil and just water it, drop the germinated seed and let her sit for a week.

I agree she looks like her feet have been wet for too long. Weed prefers a flood drought style method with wet enough roots to dry enough to breathe spells rotated. Its weird but it works.

All of my youngest plants (half of 5 weeks) are getting to be the biggest (double leaf size), since I started adding peat moss and mycorrhiza to my commercial soils. Also doubled lighting, PH monitoring, and tent.
I have better luck with soil vs pods. But that may be me or my pod source.

Thank you all for the advice, I’m going to let these guys try and dry out and see what comes of it, hopefully I didn’t do too much damage so far.
I’ll report back with my failures or triumphs.
Thanks again all.

Agreed. I started in peat pots and it was a disaster. Yes, it was my first time and I overwatered but have started a second lot in solo cups and it’s so much easier. :ok_hand:

Yeah I think when I do another batch I’ll sprout in water and drop them into organic soil from there.
