Alot of nice people here thats always willing to help.
Yes sir there sure is and I greatly appreciate y’all
You don’t need the charcoal filter all the time @Ford12
I just run mine all the time it’s just easier then putting it up and taking it down
Setup looks good and plants look healthy ![]()
@Countryboyjvd1971 hey country boy @ Ford .I know this sounds like a dumb question but I guess when I start to smell the smell the good smell right
I should be leaving my carbon filter and fan on 24/7 is that correct I went down this morning to check on the little girls and I definitely noticed a smell so I’m assuming you leave those on 24/7 I know you’re probably thinking what a dumbass but just want to make sure that it’s not going to harm them by leaving them on 24 hours a day thanks again country boy for all your help I am truly sorry for bothering you with all these questionsthanks a lot man hopefully you don’t get too tired of me I’ll figure it out and have to bug you guys no more
I run mine 24/7 once I start getting the odor
Lmfao there’s no dumb question except the one not asked
I leave mine run 24/7 in flower room actullly I run mine 24/7 in veg room as well just to keep air moving
Yeah I thought so I knew it was a stupid effing question when I asked you that but whatever haha
but thanks for ruining my my question it’s not into flowering yet but smells pretty rank
Yeah mine’s not even four weeks old and they’ve been smelling for about a week at least no it was a dumb question but sometimes I have a brain fart

Hey @Countryboyjvd1971 I was wondering if you could give me some advice my plants are 38 days old now and I am having some heat problems I have a 60x60x78 tent I have a 190 exhaust fan 2 6 in fans inside a 4 in fan for fresh air intake I have MH & HPS light system air cooled ,I have my light set at 600 watts and the temps are sticking around 79 to 82.I am having no burn on the plants and the are doing good but I know your supposed to eventually have them at 1000 watts but it would get to hot I am afraid of.Seeings how you are the expert I was wondering if you could give me some suggestions? ![]()

Those temps are ok @Ford12
As long as your not burning the plants
What temp is the incoming air on intake your only option maybe lowering the room temp tent is located in to draw colder air into tent
Is your hood sealed or open ?
The temps coming in during the day are between 73 and 76 at night time they’re between 64 and 67 it’s in the basement it’s a sealed Hood air-cooled that is coming in from a room that is relatively cool also roughly around 72 degreesI just was told you’re supposed to ramp up your wattage on your lights to 1000 I just don’t know how I’m going to make that 1000 watt work my lights are darn are to the top of the tent now and they are like 26 27 inches away from the top of the highest plant and then I dropped it down to 400 watts it seemed only help one maybe two degrees at the most on the temps so far I’ve been able to manage the temps pretty well but they’re just starting to scare me so just thought I’d ask the expert I don’t know if I need to get a 6 inch 440 CFM fan and charcoal filter what I should do cuz they are really nice plants so anyway if you please give me some advice on what I should run my wattage at and again last night after I text you I had to drop it to 400 cuz it was climbing into 84 degrees I just don’t know if I can keep it at 400 watts which I don’t think I can I do have them 24/27 in away from the lights my plan so can’t go much taller so I’m sorry to bother you I just don’t know what to do buddy I appreciate the help and I have appreciated your help thank you very much
I run 630 watt cmh fixture in my flower room and get as close as 16 inches no issue hold your hand above canopy under light when at full 1000 see if burns your hand seems a bit high at 24 inches
You should run a 6 inch on exhaust side of lights pulling air threw light from outside the tent and discharging out of tent and use a separate exhaust set up with charcol filter for actual tent and space along with a intake fans
You may need to use some ac to lower temps in tent as well by cooling to room off more
Also I run my lights at night to help control temps
I’ve got my 6 in fan pushing it through the light rather than pulling it maybe that’s the issue I’m having and I do have a separate exhaust fan with the charcoal filter it’s just a 4in the 190 CFM on that one but I will change out the way I’ve got my six inch fan on my light I will pull it rather than exhausted or pull it to rather than push it through or do you have an AC play right above it I can drop into it I also have that 6-inch or excuse me a 4in fan coming from the outside for fresh air but I will try pulling it through my lite thanks country boy
@countryboyjvd1971 I forgot to tell you also yes it is a sealed hood on that but I will like I said earlier Pole the exhaust through rather than trying to push it through again thank you
You should pull the air threw with a fan you can add a second fan on intake side of hood exhaust to help push cooler air threw hood if needed also pull the air from outside the tent
Hey country boy I got home from work change that fan around and moved it to 600 watts it’s now stabilizing at 78.7 and I’m going to get another 6 inch fan and put it back on the intake side and yes I already have it coming from outside the tent and I think with two 6-inch fans on it I will be able to boost it up to a 1000 Watts I really appreciate you getting back with me and help me out with this situation I wish there was some way I could repay you for all your help again thanks loads
@Countryboyjvd1971 hey country boy this is@Ford 12 just wanted to say by adding both of those fans it helped a lot I did end up sticking a tube from my AC into my tent though to keep it cooler just wanted to show you some pics they are five days into the flower stage
