Grow tent exhaust fan filter

Is it necessary to have an exhaust fan filter in the tent ? I will have a Honeywell air cleaner in the room anyway. And do I let the fans air circulation fans in the tent on all night? Anything else that I turn off at night other that the light? Thanks.

Hello, a carbon filter can be mounted outside your tent so it wont take up so much room.ill take a pic of mine for you. I also have a/c in my tent.

I let my fans run 24/7. Check out these trimming boxes. Im calling her Big Red. It will be on ebay by tues hopefully

Filter on exhaust is for scent control. If you’re not concerned about scent the filter isn’t needed, but your house will definitely stink, especially as you get deeper into flowering.

Most will leave their circulation fans on all the time to keep air moving. This is best practice.

The only thing critical to turn off is lights, and that’s only really needed to flower photoperiod plants.

Definitely run exhaust fan 24/7 Also exhaust outside if possible is your best bet.
Leave one hole open at the bottom of your tent will Allow fresh air to be pulled in.
Good luck :v:

Thanks everyone Just goin one step at a time. Dj351 those are nice boxes for sure. What’s the other frame on the inside of the box? You musta cut a hole in your tent the slide in the A/C? Give me a heads up when you get your boxes posted. Looks like your fan is on outside of tent and filter inside ? Thanks everyone!!

Hello Buddy53, glad you like the boxes! There are 2 screens, 177 micron and 74 micron. Calling her Big Red. Already have pay account set up. Working on ebay. Hopefully by tues. My tent is in my garage. Not feasible to cool entire garage, so i put a/c in my tent. It works great. I have both the exhaust fan and carbon filter outside my tent. Makes much head room in tent. I exhaust near ceiling. Cant exhaust outside. I have planned a 8x10 grow room. Will have 5x5 flower, 5x5 veg, room for cloning and storage. I will put carbon filters in attic.

@Dj351 havent seen your boxes on eBay yet ?
