Uffda #2 When the snow blows, I grows

I don’t mean to hijack your thread @PogueMahone (Agnes said it was okay this one time). I know all the heavy hitter cultivation knowledge is in this thread. I got two questions on photos outdoors.

Question #1
About 4 years ago when weed was just getting off the ground on legalization in many states my son was very fast to get a medical card even though we had no dispensaries here in our state. He ended up ordering from a company online that claimed to be a medical marijuana dispensary legally able to obtain weed from them, he did. He bought 1/2 oz of Bud. The weed contained about 12 seeds in which he kept in a glass vial in the refrigerator.

1.) The question is, what is the probability that those 12 seeds are actually feminized seeds?

Question #2
The seeds are definitely photo and here in my state you could literally start growing with no concerns with temperature outside right now. I’m assuming if I planted this plant outside it would veg until a certain point and automatically start flowering at a certain point. I’m also assuming (correct me if I’m wrong) that planting this seed let’s say next month by the time harvest got here it could be massively massively huge. I don’t really want that. I would like to grow this as a medium to large plant but semi secluded as well outside as we are a non out-side state we can only grow inside.

2.) The second question is, what month should I start this plant to where it would be 4 ft tall or a little taller. I just don’t want this thing to get super huge. It’s already known as one of the most pungent strands on Earth

Thank you all in advance for your input

It is my opinion that most commercial production is by feminized plants. The seeds are likely hermaphroditic and will continue the trait.

Get the seed planted now. Photosensitive means that flowering is initiated when then hours of darkness reach a certain duration and exceed it. With Cannabis it is somewhere around 12 hours. At our latitude the sun hits 12/12 around March 21, when daylength increases and again Sept 21, when hours decrease.

Re-read that sentence a few times and let it sink in.

In short, if you allow nature to take its course, the plants will grow vegetatively until around mid-Sept and then flower. Most strains take 12-16 weeks to mature.

Our weather necessitates some magic!

You will need a shade tent to harvest by early Oct.

When should I utilize the shade tent

I started using mine around mid August. I made a frame out of furniture grade pvc and covered it with tarp. With a little ingenuity you can raise and lower the tarp fairly easily.

Had a slight mishap a while ago while watering the ladies. I lost conciousness briefly and fell into the tent. I’m fine, but one of the plants got crushed. I taped her up and we shall see.

Visited with the cardiologist today. Dr Dankle (love that name). I am told that my heart is operating @ 50%, up from 15%. I was concerned about the 50%, until being told that 55% is normal. Must be the cannabis.
