Okie dokie my fellow gromies and smokies . Between moving and some unnecessary set backs it’s been a few months since a very grateful 1st grow . About 2 and 3 quarter lbs of zkittlz ( ilgm) and made of honor ( twenty20) . Another thank you for those that flew with me on that journey and all the knowledge n input thrown in .
I was trying to wait to turn one of my 4 rooms into a grow room but I just can’t wait . I just got done setting up my equipment. The same AC Infinity 5x5 w/t-6 inline/filter , Growers Choice
ROI-e720 with master controller and add on uv-r bars, CO2 with active Air regulator and autopilot controller. Blue lab ph pen , photobio ppfd meter, dimlux vpd chart , humidity machines , and of course the help from you guys , my local hydro shop, and Chris from sohum soils. Let’s see what we can come up with this time
Changing to 10 gallon tall mesh pots and this time the whole grow will be sohum living soil and pure organic nutes ( greengro pride lands ) even the pH up and down is organic .

*6 snowcaine , 2 sparkleface which parents are snowcaine and the spice , a couple purple ghost candy , a couple black sugars , and even dropped a freakshow in.

Probably going to keep the best 6 of snowcaine and sparkleface for the tent . Then the rest I’m going to try my luck outside ( if I can find some spots that is ) .

Hey man thanks and glad to be back. Yeah I was hoping poly would be back in action by now. I know it has been a good little minute even before I had to take a break . I certainly hope everything is ok.
Hopefully he is just busy. Like I’m going to be entering my busy season now. It’s going to be hard and I can only be so attentive till about mid to late summer. I’ll try to get in as much as I possibly can though .
The 3 purple ghost candy was the first to germ with long tails but it’s the 3 snowcaine that is first to break the soil . Just put the other 3 snowcaine in to join their sisters . And 1 sparkleface . The other sparkleface and 3 black sugars aren’t showing signs of taps yet. Then the freakshow was a bit to fragile and I ended up breaking her . So I think I’ll put the other freakshow in to germ and a couple more black sugars just in case these turn out bad .
Okie dokie we have all 6 snowcaine successfully germinated and in seedling stage . Also the 2 sparkleface are peeking through . Not even 1 of the 5 black sugars germinated . ( Boo!) .but the other 2 purple ghost candy is just barely peeking through , probably will take them out of dome tomorrow or next day. And the freakshow has just germinated and going in soil now.
Girls got their first watering . Things seem to be doing fine . Although I don’t understand why my seedlings seem to start of kind of tall and thin . Not like super stretched but it just appears that I see others pictures and they seem a little more thicker and shorter . May e it’s just the pictures? They are at 240-280 ppf . I think I’ll try numbing light up a few percent?
Took today off going to be getting the CO2 hooked up and ready for veg .
Ok I think I’ll break it down to a 5 minute that way it’s still got a little bit of a gradual power on the LEDs .
On a bit of a different note I finally came home to my environment closer to being on point . I didn’t realize I had one of my humidifier on warm mist but it worked in my favor .
Thats the closest from being on point with temp , humidity, vpd yet . Walked in room and felt like a spring humid day of Florida . Can tell my seedlings are digging it to. There has been a visual difference in growth and overall happiness just since leaving for work this morning . May try that again .

Just changed sunrise/set to 5 minutes. Will put back to 30-45 once they start bushing up. I noticed last time they started a little linky but bushed right up in early veg .
CO2 is hooked up ready for when it’s needed . Yeah I think we be off to having another beautiful hopefully even better journey .
Ok just shot this early today . They are looking like they are going to have a healthy, bright, colorful , stinky future ahead of em. Look ready to transplant. Think I may be able to do today. If not will get t it Tuesday
6 snowcaine and 2 sparkle are going in 2 gal mesh. Then the best 6 of those after sone weeks will be going into 10 gal mesh and staying in tent . Then left over will be going outside to join the others . Others will be transplanted into 1 gal mesh and transplanted outside in a few weeks I to the ground . Buddy has like 7 aches with a spring feed pond and chicken coup and compost piles . So will have a nice organic chicken shot and hay mixed with their food compost pile . See if we can grow a few 10 ft trees not plants
beautiful hand crafted new homes for the gals . Got to figure out if it’s better to plant in morning or evening or if it even matters being inside.
Other than that I caught myself with my first mistake of forgetting to pH my water . But I dont it matters a whole lot in seedling stage anyway . It’s living soil and RO water and seedlings look fine . Have a 5 gallon bucket of pH 6.5 ready to roll.
I don’t know much about these old school methods but I do dig Harvest Moon etc phrases lol. I remember a thread dedicated to planting on a certain full moon cycle I think…?
So yeah some things you just can’t really tell by googling any more. It’s like some say early morning or a cloudy day . Then I just got done reading another that says it’s less stressful on the plant and it retains respiration better when planting towards even. Can’t really find enough on either side to indicate which side is right. So go back to what I know worked for first grow . Ask away and take in consideration how many say this or that and try to find a happy medium out of it that will easily or better suit me right?
