I get it. Im not a fan of couch lock weed either. I prefer weed that is balanced that I can use any time day or night. I also dont like weed that makes me anxious or paranoid. Some strains do that unless you let them get some amber in order to not have any clear trichomes.
Yeah, agreed, and I do like couchlock, but at night. So, I guess I like bedlock.
I want it to put me to sleep and wake me up and take away my pain but still be able to go out in public and not feel uncomfortable around people.
I hear ya, and those things are why, if I “had” to chose only one strain to use, for me it would be GDP, with little-to-no-amber trichs.
I just harvested some GDP 4 days ago. Just a few cola’s. Im taking most of the rest of the GDP this weekend. Its earlier that I normally would, just for that reason.
Sweet @plumbdand !
Your growing skills and plants are amazing!
Have you had improvement with your vision? I hope so!
No, still cant see shit out of my right eye and some days my left isn’t much better than my right. It comes and goes how had it is. Its worse in the mornings and some nights its almost normal. Tonight its close to normal
Ah, sorry about that!
Yeah it sucks luckily im still able to work
More of Hazel’s trichomes are cloudy when I checked this evening. Not that sugar leaves count, though I noted as a data point that there is more amber on them. She is drinking less and fading more. I’ll aim to try a bud sample this weekend.
Hazel is in good, safe hands.
I haven’t used these Rapid Rooters, yet anyway, many folks do with good results, so thought I’d pass on their sale I just saw, “31% off”:
This afternoon, I cut off small piece of Hazel bud. Might be tomorrow that I try it, need to have my wits about me to get a few things done, including trying out (prepping) an ice cream maker - priorities! The goal is to make “healthy” ice cream …
I gently squeezed Hazel’s buds, they are very dense, especially for an auto. The finger sniff = lots of grape! I don’t know if that’s usual for a highly sativa-dominant strain, hmmmm. Air whiffs of her also have some spice similar to Durban Poison, in addition to the grape, but hands-on, she’s very grapey.
Thanks for the heads up! Something else to try.
Hazel smoke report: Mostly functional and not overbearing head buzz, only slightly spacey. Light but noticeable body buzz/relaxation. Good late afternoon/early evening weed for relaxing and/or getting some things done without temptation to hit the couch. Very nice!
Hazel will be chopped this evening or early tomorrow. Last night:
This evening or tomorrow, I’ll drop a couple seeds. I’m almost certain that they’ll be a NYC auto and a CBDV auto.
Here’s a new buddy who arrived today, how handsome!
Congrats on Hazel, and that skull is badass. I want a crystal (well, glass…) one.
So Hazel was chopped last evening.
This afternoon, I soaked a New York City auto (Pyramid Seeds), which sounds terrible given their recent flood. The other seed I soaked is a CBDV auto by Royal Queen Seeds, a different type of CBD strain that has high amounts of the cannabinoid cannabidivarin (CBDV). Sounds interesting. From their website:
"Royal CBDV Automatic stems from a breeding project involving parent strains Solomatic CBD and Durban Poison. Our breeders harnessed the high-CBD values of Solomatic CBD and the pure sativa genetics of Durban Poison to create a progeny with 75% sativa genetics, 20% indica, and 5% ruderalis. "
“Royal CBDV Automatic produces CBDV levels of 5%, CBD levels of 5%, and minimal THC levels of 0.3%. Together with an array of earthy and piney terpenes, this cannabinoid profile exerts a clear-headed and energising effect that enhances focus without a high. The terpenes also support a moreish savoury experience that perfectly mimics the soothing effect of the strain.”
