I love to read. I tend to like classic fiction but I read a lot of history. I’ve gotten lazy and really like audiobooks now. Holding a paperback is a great thing but listening on my commute or just in the truck, I enjoy it as much as music. I’m listening to the Tolkien books again and midway thru the LOR. Such a masterpiece and I don’t tire of books like this. Do you read as well?

The best job with the worst salary I’ve ever had, was manager for a bookstore.
I stayed there way too long only because I could read anything I wanted to, free of charge

Then that job was a good one sir. Ever go to a 2nd N Charles store? They have a cabinet with old originals in it and you can find some good ones if your timing is right.

Nope. But even if the bookstore wasn’t carrying a book I wanted to read, I could order it for the store and and read it before putting it on sale.

Evening growers. Wednesday is a good day, but not as good as Friday. At least I can see the weekend coming and I have next week off to hang with dear friends. Got few plans and I don’t know if my friends know it yet, I’ve hinted at it, but they may get to harvest a cannabis plant for the first time. They are benefactors to these plants so it won’t hurt them to get a little sticky. It depends on this girl, but she is showing amber on the leaves. We rented a place in PCB next week for a couple of days so it is on for us older folks.

Still looks like a few more weeks to me still has way to many white pistols. When checking trichomes for amber look at the buds not the fan leaves. I’m not being critical just want you to grow the best weed

Growmies it’s the Friday before a week off. I’ve been looking forward to this week for a while. Dear friends are visiting and we are gonna have a great time.
We may have a good peach harvest this year. It’s been hit or miss with this tree over the 9 years here.
The Black Widow is at day 114 from sprout; 9.6 weeks in flower. She needs more time

And momma dove is still sitting on her babies. I tried to get a pic of her on the nest but she wasn’t having anything of it.
Young hot peppers. The darker one is a purple peach Carolina Reaper and the other is a white ghost pepper.
Gonna light one up and enjoy the evening. Looks like a frozen pizza day
