Transplant or not?

so I have 4 auto’s 2 zkittles and 2 low ryders. they are in 3 gallon bags with Natures living soil for auto’s doing great. concerned that if i leave them in bags it will cut my yield due to the small bags also concerned if i transplant. (would be in ground outside) Any thoughts ? really don’t want to go the feeding nutes road. I am new to indoors. They are now 2 weeks old. :clock2:

My thoughts are Auto’s go into final home after germination. I don’t think there is enough time for an Auto to recover from a transplant.

Just my .02 cents

I have done quite well with the 3 gal bags. But if you’re going outside with them, and conditions are conducive, transplant.

3 gallon bags took them across the line with no problems?

i was going to cut the bottom off the bags and bury them half way up the bag any thoughts on that

I used the 3 gallon bags for my last grow of GGA’s. They seemed fine, pulled a bit over 2.5 ounces dry off each

I have grown 6 ft plants in a 3 gallon fabric pot…
For an auto with living soil you will be just fine.
Just keep an eye on moisture level because you will reach a point where you need to water every other day, or even every day at some point.

what do you think about cutting bottom off bag and half bury idea?

If you are really worried just place the bag in a larger pot and fill with soil. Bury the three gallon about half way. They will grow roots right through the fabric. no need to cut the bottom out. I have one like that right now.

6 footers wow impressive

The plant in the back grew to the top of the tent. I kept pulling down the branches and it kept on growing.
It was in a 3 gal fabric pot.

what strain is the one in the back? hard to tell but what size containers are the 2 in the front

This is a 3 gallon, plastic planter. Got about 5 ounces from it

Northern light autos. It seems they do that sometimes.
I have two sizes of pots here, green 3 gallon and brown 5 gallon.

Behind that was my OG Kush and off to the side was a Northern Lights. I typically use 15 gallon planters.

I just finished 3 White widow in 3 gal pots. Finished out with 11.3 oz total after dry. But I do agree that you can just bury the pot and go. Nice thing about fabric pots! So versatile.

I actually plan my grow like this now.
I start in a 1 gal fabric pot and at about 3 weeks place it in a 5 gal buried about halfway.
I can fill my 3x3 tent with one single plant.

Sounds like a plan! Good luck!

ok thanks a ton everyone… seems like I could either way. Think i’ll do a little experiment and see which works best.
