To wash or not to wash, that is the question

I’ll be harvesting a couple plants within the month. They’re doing great, but AZ is extremely dusty. Would it be best to just spray the foliage with a hose before harvesting gently, or should I do a full out bud wash with three buckets and lemon juice?

Pictured are the plants I’m talking about.

Full bud wash, no skimping on quality processing. AZ, will dry thr hanging plants just fine, in my guess.
Bud washing new cut plant should not destroy quality, rather, clean your buds. Most importantly, weed trim-bin for kief collection. I mined for seeds, crushed remaining and processed for kief mining. Fun results for first timeer. Weed used was raised outdoors and grown for seed reclamation with storage.

Outside grow bud wash is a must

It’s indoor, but almost impossible to keep dust away in a desert, unfortunately

I’m guessing that’ll help slow the drying down to keep a good terp profile if I wash and hang?

I have petty clean indoor environment so I only bud wash if I have a pest problem

Bud wash all the way. It’s the way to go.

So bud wash, trim, dry, cure. Gotcha. Thanks!

I found out about the horrible abuse people are doings to their baby’s. Now it is all i do, I think it helps them dry better. I have seen some interesting thing’s lookin at my trics

Do these appear ready to wash, by chance?

Nope you got quite ways to go. Give or take 3 to 6 weeks strain depending but 3+ weeks easily

Seeing how potent these are already is making patience hard to come by. I’ll check in again the second week of March. Thanks for all the help you all have provided. I feel like that makes a first grow, much easier.

No worries. Thats why were here. This is a great community with tons of excellent growers. Patience is key.
