I see webbing but the bug in that one picture is not a spider mite. The bug in the picture looks more like a russet mite.
Although above looks really close too, based on pics if could be thrips as well. I seemed to get them when i used soil. The thing i hated most about soil too…stupid bugs!
This is a thrip
I think the other thing that looks like a booger is too ,
The color and shape are dead giveaway
Thrips have a big fat ass
Google thrip larve
Thrips are big enough to see with the naked eye Russet mites are way smaller and can’t be seen without a magnifier. Thrips have 6 legs. Russet mites have 4 Russet mites are about a 1/6 the size of a spider mite. The normal stuff that kills spider mits and thrips wont phase Russet mites.
Thrips can jump run ninja flip and go stealth mode in a second.
Never bring a knife to a thrip fight you will lose.
It’s a thrip 100 percent. Saw a few on a couple plants out of 16 plants! Dried all. No wash. No spray. 100 percent organic. But dried and a jarred. Smells epic and world class. Thanks for figuring out it’s a thrip.
No worries although thrips can be serious I have never found them in an infestation like you would an aphid ,however they are on your plants in numbers when you have them ,
Outdoors where I am I have soybean thrips ,but I also naturally have thier biggest predator the minute pirate bug ,so it’s never enough of anything for me to even worry about .
I immediately knew it was a thrip because of its shape and color even tho it was a sort of blurry pic ,that’s how much I’ve seen them
I find minute pirate bugs in my greenhouse from time to time. I didn’t know what they were the first time I saw one.
They are my favorite predator because they will have offspring on your plant if there’s enough of a food source ,and could protect your plant for a long time
Can you spray Jacks Dead Bug for thrips when the lights are on or do you have to do it when the lights are off (indoor grow) all plants have those tiny white baby thrips (I think) help as they are also budding week 10.5.
Thanks
Better to do it with the lights off. Just after lights out would probably be best
