hey y’all, I’ve got about 3-4 weeks left of flower and I just saw this bug chilling in the middle of one of my buds. I didn’t know what it was at first because it is microscopic, so I went to brush it off and it started moving away. Was able to snap a picture of it. Spider mites are usually red, no? This thing looks white/opaque with a black head and is the size of the tip of a pencil. What is this/should I be worried? Haven’t seen any other ones so far. Thanks

I think it is a thrip, and they are not friendly to cannabis.

Oh snap, a thrip? I’ve never heard of that. How would it even get in my tent? What can I do to get rid of them? And what kind of problems do they cause?

I had them on mine outside and to keep their numbers down I used sticky traps,caught over a thousand, I reckon.
Do you have sticky traps in tent?

I don’t. Do I just hang them right by the plants? How do I do that with oscillating fans blowing? And this one seemed so small, will they really make it to the floating traps?

Jacks dead bug is safe to use all the way to harvest. Youll need to do a bud wash regardless after you harvest.

What does a bud wash entail? I’ve never heard of that. This is my first grow
