I think my unknown Auto might be ready to harvest.. its difficult to get a puc of the trichomes, but there is definitely a little amber going on there and im not a big dan of the whole ‘couch lock’ thing..
Some of the buds closer in to the main stalk, I wish were a bit more developed.. although its probably just larf that I should have just trimmed them off a long time ago. Theres no point trying to cut the big buds now, and leave the inner ones to bulk up is there? Better off drying whole branches to slow the drying process?
I agree with @SausageMahoney . Last year I had a plant that was super big. +10 foot tall. Had to take in stages as the biggest buds were ready and some of the smaller inside ones needed more time. Nothing wrong with doing that. Good luck.
This is not a tall plant at all though.. maybe 2foot from top of soil, if that..
Wouldn’t chopping just the buds that are ready to go now make them dry faster than choppinng and drying the whole branch? I thought I wanted it to dry as slow as possible, to preserve terps.. or should i give it a go and just cut and dry the outer big buds that are ready? Ive already stopped watering/feeding the last 3 days
If you feel like you want to take the whole plant, you can. But as myself and others have said, many people do stagger their harvest. But at 2-foot tall I’d probably just take the whole thing at once. Or, try to stagger and see how it works for you. That’s how we learn and gain experience with new things. Good luck.

7 to 10 days has worked best for me.
Dried in 5 days I find not as good.
Some people dry individual buds on a screen, if it falls in a good time-frame, that’s fine
I started trying to just take the big, ready buds.. but I didnt think what was left was really worth trying to continue ripening. So I ended up just taking her all and hanging it up
I dont think i can get my she shed down to 15°c (60°f) especially during the day.. but it can sit at or under 20 for the most part.
My bedroom sits around where I want it pretty consistently but my housemate might get a bit shitty about the smell
