I am patient. I am patient. I am patient. I am patient

I am using every fiber of my being to summon the patience I need! You guys have been so helpful, so I ask again for your input on two questions:

#1 What do you think? How close am.I?

#2 When the time.comes, I’m planning to take a couple of main branches that are higher than everything else and leave the rest to let it ripen more. Is that a good idea and, if so, any tips?

Thanks again for the help. It’s a nice community of folks here, so thank you!

Pretty close. How long has it been flowering?

Lots of growers do that

Beautiful. I agree, You are close. You’re even in the window that some guys who prefer less couchlocky weed and more zippy might even cut it now.

At this point it’s just your preference. I like it a little stonier but that’s just my way.

Some people do the staged harvest. I do not. I’ve always felt that the shock the plant experiences from a partial harvest is enough to stall its progress for an amount of time (don’t ask me how much) and for that reason I always chop the whole plant at once. If you wanna harvest the same plant at different maturity levels grow two clones and harvest them at different times.

It’s been right at 9 weeks.

I would agree with @Deez that you are in the “window” for harvest. Couple more weeks gives a little more weight and a stonier buzz.

Its looking very close to me i would say one more week at the most i believe

I stage harvest larger plants. Also auto at times. Just feedem like normal. Harvest top…ripen lower couple weeks more. They dont shock. Huge rootball ripens lower buds fast. Have a lemon auto i am doing this with as we speak.

Like the others have said. IMO patience is one of the hardest things for new growers ask me how I know LOL. “Patience Grasshopper”

:rofl:I have to laugh at the answers always seem to be one or two weeks on almost every thread about harvest. Keep an eye on trics and if still in doubt take a pinch and try it out to see if it does what you want it to. So anywhere from 7 to 16 days seems to be the answer.

Sorry all as I see this funny but everyone has their answers based on personal preferances. Personally I like heady highs in the morning and couch lock at night and harvest based on that. Weeks have nothing to do with it as they are ready when they are ready according to your likes.

She looks great.

I always harvest the entire plant so I can start fresh with something else instead of messing with a staged harvest to not really gain much.

That’s exactly it. That’s why it’s a question that only new growers ask and the question that seasoned growers know you can’t really answer definitively. All anyone can really tell you is if you’re way too early or if you waited way too long and if you’re a new grower you’ll never wait way too long

Im a noob awesome plants. i am also patient

Like others have said, I think your in that harvest window of personal preference when to harvest.

I personal would wait a bit longer but I would be checking those trichromes daily for when they get to what you want.

Here are the best two image guides I can provide

I waited just a touch longer than where your currently at on my last harvest.

My last plant got out of control a little bit, the lower buds didn’t get as much light, I harvest the plant in 3 sections basically top, then a week or two later I did the middle then a week later I harvest the bottom buds once done.

Congrats on your grow! Great work!

Patience is a virtue. Great looking buds! Imo would wait another week or two.

Personally, I think you are ready to chop. That being said, your “wait” is far from over.

I would flush (measuring the PPM’s before and after), then she should go into darkness for a bit, then chop (weighing afterwards) & place into a dark, humidity & temperature controlled area. Then comes drying, trimming & curing. This can be REAL time consuming - with some grows buds only needed to cure about a month.

However some of my best grows occurred after an initial sample - euwwwww - this is a zero!!!
Then 3 to 6 months MORE curing, the very same genome . . . um . . . well . . .

Curing is to me the key. Like you said at the outset: I am patient. I am patient. I am patient. I am patient . . .
