Is this a thrip ? I googled up common cannabis pests and this looks like a thrip, i didn’t see this little sucker until I looked at my picture, I’m on a regular Captain Jack’s spray basis mixed 4 tablespoons per gallon doing it every 3 day’s and I still seem to find bug’s, Do i possibly need anything else? Or just keep on the regular schedule, I feel like Captain Jack’s is working pretty good because I can’t find many
Looks like it
For flying bugs use yellow sticky traps. Without spraying directly or using some hardcore commercial grade stuff that has a residual effect, flying insects really need to be sprayed directly. Just gotta keep up with maintenance
That’s the Bad Part of doing outdoor grows , Bug’s I’ll try some of those sticky traps along with regular maintenance, I appreciate the help
Ya, I have some outdoors, so every other evening I spray, pest or no pest. Captain Jack’s is safe to use up til harvest. It rinses away with a bud wash. Oil based products not so much. Good luck!
Thanks, I’m not a big fan of Neem oil, I’m going to hangout with Captain Jack’s it’s definitely working
I use the concentrate and mix it to 1.5x strength
I use the concentrate also, but I mix full strength, it’s saying 4 tbsp per gallon, what about powdery mildew and mold, bud rot , what is good to use for it , I not having any problems yet , but I would like to prevent it
Sorry smoked some of a fresh GSCE harvest and freaking crashed. For WPM (white powdery mildew), mold and rot, a lot of growers mix a sprayer full of water and peroxide at 50/50.
@Borderryan22 i have been using Captain Jacks but it was the pre mixed in a spray bottle …ur saying they sell concentrate to mix ur self ??
If you’re outside flying pests are gonna come and go. Some don’t damage the plant, but they’re larvae can. There’s not many large insects that you can’t find before they do too much. It’s the little ones that live on the plant that are harder to combat.
