Nice! I purchased one of those last year and they do pretty good. I haven’t used the wet trimming blades because I heard they tear up the flowers. Let me know how you like it!
John,
They don’t tear up a bud if used properly. I wet trim all over the time.
- Don’t overload. Overloading will cause the buds to pike up on one another causing an unsightly trim.
- Trim off all exposed stems. They’ll fall through the grate, and that may break a bud.
- Turn the handle s l o w l y! A single turn takes me 5 seconds. I do 12 turns clockwise, 12 turns counterclockwise and that’s it.
Here’s a wet trim bud, how does it look?

I think it looks great. I have been hand trimming for about 4-5 days when time allows and I’ve done two pounds and I’m tired of trimming wet buds by hand. Thanks for the example picture I’ll take your advice and let you know how it works for me.
