At what point is Terpine production highest in plant? I’ve heard varying opinions. Seems majority is last couple weeks of bloom. Opinions please and thank you.
Last half if flower is when stink starts comming in but terpenes production is a life long cycle and nutes and things that play a role in terp production are being gathered and saved are obtained throughout its life… I have a product that has no nutrients in its specifically a terp enhancer by supplementing natural terpenes occurring in nature at high concentrations …in forms of natural oils and extractions of tons of plants and such here it’s called hydroponic moonshine it’s the cherry on the cake in my opinion I have noticed a big difference when using this stuff and not using it it made so so grows become acceptable
look at the plethora of different ingredients alot I still have to research also u can smell Terps present pretty early in veg …rub a plants stalk and smell your fingers you’ll get a nice puff of stink
There alot of terp specific products but that one has NPK in it so its gotta be factored into an regiment … moonshine has no macro element analysis and say it’s used along side any feed scheduel hydro or soil… that’s what sold me on it it’s also freaking expensive… it’s the most expensive bottle I own… its 65$ a quart my other line is 50 to 90$ a gallon
I have a 200$ bottle of cal mag…more of a jug… its 2.5 gal and I got it for free for dropping 800$ on full line gallon size of Emerald harvest

I dont believe in flushes and stopped using synthetics for that reason but if your using synth. I would use a flush product witha terp enhancer because most flush products like flawless finish have some food which I agree with …starving a plant at the most weight packing time isn’t a good idea my food line calls for reduced feed up to day of harvest if needed
And what do you mean indica terpenes?
Keep in mind I’m novice beginner, only 12 grows. Just for reference for our convo. Lol… in my limited research on Terpenes, there seem to be different types, you can have citrus/indica/sativa/hybrid strains…I’m guessing each is infused with that trait in a oil soluble solution. For example, I bought 5ml of Indica and 5ml of Sativa Terpenes. Supposedly, they have same characteristics as those strains…Ive just started reading on Terpenes due to fact that I feel I’m good on everything grow wise,except, smell/aroma…Effect is there with good genetics and grow, but aroma,nope,I’ve tried different curing/drying/ blah blah, lol…So I thought I’d try watering with distilled water and Terpenes just out of WHY NOT? lolol, So I’m going to do 1 plant and see. Now you got me thinking, maybe because I start flushing with distilled water about 1 1/2 weeks out, maybe I really am flushing it out??? 
Exactly !! That’s an interesting way to put it your washing out good stuff at the time its needed… some ppl think its clears up harshness makes white ash instead of dark or black some believe it gets rid of grassy taste … I’ve read alot that nitrogen is really the grassy tasting culprit and the idea behind the flush in theory you are forcing the plant to consume its self and cannibalize the nutrients in its reserves reduced feeding still feeds the plant micro bloom and grow at about seedling levels but it has all of the main base nutrients needed to sustain life …NPK and all the micros… maybe notnall the extra goodies but I use moonshine all the way to day of harvest and it made a noticeable difference coupled with light feed the taste and smell were muuuch better that run… 12 grows is a really good amount of grows and you are rounded enough to make observations on what’s working and simply what’s not… if your not getting good taste by now I’d say that something u are doing everytime is not right… I’m sorry if you said before but what nutes are u using …what did you start with and how has it changed over your growing career I’ve changed manufacturers 3 times I have left over general hydro from when I started that I’m gonna run out this run to give it a fair argument on manufacturers and organics and synthetics … I dismissed general hydro early on which could have easily been an operator error looking back
I grow soil,60/40 soil/perlite for every grow…I started with Advanced Nutrients and was given a formula by experienced grower. It consisted of probably 12 different bottles, very expensive, but it got me going great for first 8 grows. I then switched to General Hydroponics nutrients, Wich is less expensive, obviously, and I add Mammoth P. I have been on these nutrients since and again, very happy with

I started with 600hps light, did great. Moved to a 400Solar Storm led, did great. Now I’m on a 600w led white light and it’s doing great…I’ve been very fortunate to not have screwed up in any grows yet…Every grow I try something small, never big swings. This grow was just not taking off any of the leafs! Letting the plant discharge them, and I am now a firm believer that other than topping the plant early and very very light lower defoliation,very little LST,that’s it. I’m now looking to next grow and Terpene production, thinking that it will help with smell, but now you got me

That’s a tough one… I would prefer AN over GH for tweekable factor but everyone seems to be having good results with simple so I’m trying the simple and going back to basics really… I’m honestly not in much of a different position as you I’m striving for taste and smell to be elevated as well potency is there …ALL DAY but I would like some more taste and smell …I’ve had some taste great and some not so much and they were side by side same nutes same lights same everything … purple haze was fire not the tastiest… recon was fire and was tasty and smelly I got PH from bag seed and recon as bag seed I got 400 recons ina super seeded ounce
I got 35 40 ph out of a not so seedy ounce but weed was awesome tasty and smelly …the recon I grow was better then the bud I got it from …weird
I’m also starting to lean the same way with nutrients…SIMPLE…when I was starting and using Advanced I felt like a damn chemist every water, and honestly it started to not make it enjoyable. Since I dumbed it down a little, lol, I’m back to really enjoying it and getting same results…I’m actually looking for something/somewhere that is just like,1 nutrient Veg,1nutrient bloom,with maybe a bud booster added. I have local friends that just use damn tap water and miracle grow and are killing it… GENETICS 
…Maybe that smell and taste is just a natural thing hard to replicate in closed environment!?I mean I remember getting bags of Skunk years back that smelled like Skunk, it was all outdoor then. I’m gonna try this Terpene flush idea I have, about last 3 waters on 1 plant and see if I notice anything. I’ve got 16 Super Skunk going, feminized l, from ILGM. Normally I use AMS seeds from Amsterdam but had shipping problems recently. I started 8 and panicked, I thought I tried them out early so I started 8 more and now there all going,lololol,those are the problems I’m having! Your doing good man… I would go for a broad spectrum terp instead of indica so you dont miss anything that the plant might be able to utilize and it will be for all your strains in the future instead of only indica…
I love crowded that’s how I prefer it to be in a 4x4 or 5x5 preferably I run 48 plants in a 5x5 
I made a space saving rack for a sog perpetual I had 192 in a 10x10

Looks great,I’m scared of what I would do with that kind of space…nice. I bought the Sativa and also the Indica Terpene. Maybe do .5+.5 of each and let it ride out. Your space looks great
Thank you that was my last project that got uprooted again … I’m working 2 autos right now …there still in shot glass I’m about 48 hrs in I have been timid to restart …I battled spidermites for 8 monthes after that picture above got up rooted and placed into my bedroom
Good Lord bro…thank the lil baby Jesus I’ve never had even 1 of those issues…I grow in tents so I can completely control my environment. I may lose a plant or two in sq ft, but I’m completely sealed off. Sorry you dealt with that. I’m embarrassed to say I’ve never even taken a ph reading, ever, I’ve just been fortunate I guess. My day will come I’m sure. I have Aphid traps in corners top and bottom. I still see some very nice fruit in pics.
!!! That might be your exact problem!!! Ph is a must. . AN has a ph perfect program but what is you starting water is it tap or RO or bottled purified… dude …very important …especially if your using ANY SILICA products silica shoots ph up way over 8 be advised if you get a ph pen or reagent (I only use reagent it can be not calibrated takes the guess work out if the calibration side and its dirt cheap you can get a whole test kit with up and down for less then 20 bucks I highly suggest you do your plants look great but they will probably get better ecspecially with GH
I will start looking into it…maybe I redirect my next grow to just get onboard with the PH… ive always used cocoabcuzz and perlite,and distilled water…I have never had any issues, ever,never a discolored leaf, mold,or whatever, just lush green plants with big juicy buds! Lol, lucky I guess. I’m going to get that pen you suggest and let’s just see what’s what. If your telling me that if I give it some attention they possibly be even better??? I’m in!
