I put them back in tent hooked up my exhaust fan so its cooler and they were just watered. I have two fans inside. Let’s see what happens…this is my first soil grow.
Welcome to the family. And try to edit your title so everyone will know its a journal. You get different kinds of comments and reads. Also ill see if i can find a mod to move this (if it needs moving) hows that?
Cfls over 15,000 lumens I have a exhaust fan out on top i have window in tent open during the day for fresh air and a couple fans inside. Temp is 80 and humidity is 45 during the day. I dont kno what it is at night . But before exhaust fan it was 100 degrees in there and hum was 75… I was trying to get humidity up without having to spend too much more money. Problem is I have the air on but I live in a very humid state. Do i need anymore humidity and if so how do I do that. They are planted in ffof they were all planted at the same time. But some how the are bigger than other three. I just topped them all cause im going to send them into flower in couple weeks. I lost alot of bottom leaves on one. That ones been a problem since the beginning. I have a bad habit of over watering them. Ph is 6.9 I got to get some ph down.
@Kyliegirl146
I’ve run my entire grow with RH in the same range as yours. Unless you have extremely dry or overly humid air, they should be just fine. You’re plants look established so 30 to 40% should be ok.
@SilentHippie I live in florida its always humid but we have the air on all summer into fall so the house its like 75 degrees. I think it’s humidity that was a problem. Tips of the leaves on a couple plants are burnt. When I water what should the ph be in water, I think I’m going to prolong veg, bc I can cut it back if it gets too tall right? I just want it healthy before I flower.
Probably not a good idea to trim for height as those will be the colas that form. Better to do some low stress training and bend the branches down when they get too close to your light source. LST, supercropping, mainlining; these are all good techniques to familiarize yourself with. I like to use a SCROG. Remember when you start the flowering light schedule you can expect 20 to 50% stretch. Best to plan accordingly.
I saw that u use Foxx farm. And now I’ve got a question? If used ffof right from the beginning its been about five weeks and now I got some new growth. On that chart do I start from the beginning at week one? Where would I start where it won’t b to strong… Cause I’d like to use ff products
IMO (and others would agree), Ocean Forest is ALL you need until flower. I have used it and like it: easy to work with and drains well. I don’t even own FF vegging nutes. I’ve always just started in during flower.
Remember that the manufacturer is not in the business of conserving nutrients lol. You are often better to go easy on the nutrients and the plants will thank you for it.
Ive got all three because it’s cheaper to buy all together here than separate. Ok so those three plants are ten inches high and been planted five wks ffof now do I start both bloom? I’m asking cause I don’t know
Go for the bargain! You may want to try a grow in media (coco or Promix) so it’s money well spent. I love soilless (I’m in Promix for this grow) for it’s rapid growth and control during flower.
You need to figure what is the largest you want them and subtract about 1/3 as your flowering point. When you go to 12/12 lighting, one of the plants’ responses is to stretch. By as much as 50% at times, depending on strain. Remember; bigger plants means bigger harvest. Done correctly or using something like the SCROG, your yield can be 12 oz or more from one plant.
