Is the runt an Auto?
Could be a root propagation issue due to the transplant and the soil looks quite dry to me.
Good luck, hopefully someone with more experience than me can help you out further.
@MidwestGuy no it’s a photo one .
@Cosmoctopus yea when I took it out the cup and put it in the pot it wasn’t a lot of roots but I did see some not like my other plant.
Similar problems can occur with autos more so than photos.
Overwatering as a seedling is the most common cause of stunting.
Genetics. I would toss it and plant another or focus on the healthy plant.
Process of elimination if both plants were treated the same and this one is problematic….could be genetic. I just recently grew a Tangi and it was effortless and a big producer ![]()
@MidwestGuy do you think it will eventually grow or should I say let it go??
@OGIncognito I’m hoping both of my Tangie be a success but that little one is not getting bigger so I’m definitely concerned about it.
If that were mine. I would pull it and put it in a solo cup and see where it goes from there. You could do another plant to replace it. I got an oz from growing a plant in a solo cup. That would always be an option if you drop some thing to replace it. And then this one decides to grow. ![]()
@Not2SureYet - Well a friend of mines going to see what they can do with it if anything and imma plant another one! Thanks for your feedback
I remember when I first started growing I had a few of these mutants. I didn’t know how to cut losses and just kept them alive. Eventually they grew up and out of it but it was never worth the time looking back on it.
I’ve had plants start out like that and turned into really good plants.
I give every plant a chance. I have ones I thought I should cull only to come back in full force and out perform the big girls.
Just depends how much patience and time you have.
I do living soil and dry organic amendments.
