Transplanted from paper towel to the solo cups roughly two days ago and noticed one is doing banging while the other looks like it may be struggling.
I’ve heard about runts so wasn’t sure if this is a behavior they exhibit. I’m sure they all grow at their own rates but I didn’t know if this bend was indicative of anything.

Your seedling looks perfectly normal. It will be weeks whether you know if it will turn out to be a runt or not.

Something needs to be done with pic 2

My other question is does a strong start (with everything the same) to a seed usually mean anything for the end goal. Like the seed had more energy so more growth etc
What is that something? Mind you the first pictures tap root was out a fair amount prior to transplanting and pic two only had the tip of tap root sticking out of shell

Your seedlings are both fine. Plants naturally grow at differing rates. The still bent one just hasn’t popped it’s head up yet. It should do so within the next day.

She just hasn’t raised up fully yet. I wouldn’t worry about it unless she fails to right herself after another day.

That’s where I’m confused because I didn’t start them in solo cup. It had the point of tap root out so I misted and put into here. I figured while sprouting would be more upright but I am a complete rookie.
