First auto run. Overfed the hell out of this plant, but she survived and is developing some nice buds. Concerns are tight bunching of stems and gray looking stalk. Thanks! Excited to be in this forum.

Nothing you can do with this auto but let it finish Grow Bro. It’s stunted and has experienced some set backs…. Autos need a great start to hit the flower cycle firing on all cylinders to have any decent growth and yield

The purpose behind spreading one out is to create an even canopy so that all the bud sites receive the same amount of lighting. To do this for your plant the main top needs to be bent over so it and the lowers are even. That main is probably too rigid

I figured this plant was too far along. The buds that are developing smell so good that i want to give them best chance. Ive learned a lot on this first run of autos. Thanks! I will definitely top all my photos from now on to get that nice canopy.
I just realized that you topped an auto! Does that work? I had heard it was too much stress for an auto. No transplanting, no topping. I’ll have to explore this topic more on the site!
Yes I top above the 4th node, leave the 3rd and remove all the growth below. Only the 3rd and 4th node was left on the plant above

Thank you! The flowers smell amazing! I am worried about the tight core, but I’m guessing there’s nothing i can do at this point. Was thinking about adding 1/2 tsp of Recharge to water tonight. Good idea or just keep watering?
I’m harvesting my first couple of plants tonight, nicknamed Big Red for the scary red stalks. I grew them too tall and they ran out of gas. Again, first plants. One Blue Dream, 1 Blue Cheese. Excited to start the next garden with the knowledge gained.
Don’t underestimate the power of a stunned auto. I’ve had a couple of 11 in autoflowers that did over 2 oz of weed and the weed was just as fire as anything you’ll find out there. From seedling through veg autoflowers are incredibly sensitive and leaves you no room for error. It’s very easy to stun them. I agree with @OGIncognito just properly feed it keep your conditions environmentally correct and she’ll finish and finish nice.

Thanks for sharing. Beautiful plants. I love this forum. I used to dread waking up and checking my autos, they were in such bad shape. I’m a first time grower, and although i promised myself i wouldn’t screw up, i did many times and am the wiser for it. Those 2 ugly photos are my very first plants. Blue Dream and Blue Cheese. I let them get too big, burned them at one point, then starved them. Chopping them down tonight! They smell great.

Typically one of the plants doing germination got stuck underneath a stick in the Solo cup and started growing sideways. The stress of her trying to move the stick or go around it I think is what stressed it out. (It only takes that much stress during seedling to mess it up)
The chemdog plant which was about 13 inches tall I believe it’s genetics as I grew this plant three different times in all three of them were midgets.
Really any stress during the seedling stage can be devastating with autoflowers. I’ve learned for the first 10 days just leave them alone.
Once they start veg and get a couple of weeks into it you can push them better. You’ll get used to it
How do you get your stalk/stems so thick? I felt like my first 3 photos were kind of skinny.
The majority of the credit goes to the genetic structure and training gets some credit. I’ve had some gangly branches on a few manifolds
Do you remember the yield from this plant? I don’t think I need more than a couple of ounces per plant. I grow just for me. I may purposely stunt my plants from now on. I like the bonsai cannabis plant!
