I’m not new to growing, but I am to auto flowers. I was gifted a banana kush auto, so decided to try it. This plant is not quite 5 weeks old. Looks like all stem to me, and no real bud formation, but maybe that’s how these work?

I see what you mean about all stem. Maybe it’s stretching to the light too much? Can you lower the light or increase intensity? Otherwise it looks healthy. If it’s 5 weeks from seeds popping I wouldn’t be too worried.
Yeah, I’m using a 315 cmh, running it around 22”. I’m afraid to go to much closer. I run it at 24” for my phenos. Thanks.
Ok that’s lots of light. Maybe she’s just a big stretcher.
You could train her to even out the canopy, get those tops closer to even height to maximize their light intake.

Strain selection has a lot to do with the structure of a plant you can pound them with light to control it somewhat but it’s mostly genetics. Training has more influence than light imo

@Dexterado Autos can grow into many shapes. My Autos generally have a 16” to 24” cola and I don’t train mine. I let them do their own thing.
If I said I don’t train you would probably think I did. But no I let them grow how good ole Mother Nature wants them to be. I hate growing Autos.

I’m with you. Not to impressed yet, but I’ll see what happens. I already bent the top over several days ago. It still taller than the rest of the limbs.

My very first Autos grown outdoors (last season `20) I bought all Blueberry Autos. I bought 5 seeds and they all germed and flourished They grew very big and bushy and yielded very good for Autos ,I was impressed with that…Although I was a novice they didn’t have a tremendous smell or taste of BB and not too trichy BUT The smoke was clean and the high was good THC was definitely there! My only problem was I only did one strain… This season I bought Bruce banner Gglue,GSCE,Banana Kush, Zkittles… The only one that produced big yields was the Banana…The rest meh! Although this year (1st batch) got decimated by Caters!! I was least impressed by the skittles ( the one I really wanted to try best!!) Im on experimental batch #2 and once again the Zkittles are coming are way behind the other…My Gglue looks tall but has nasty trichs this time,so are the GSCe and bruce Banner and banana Now my Photo Romulan grew so big and yielded so much my fingers are tired from trimming…and the wait time was stressful between wondering if someone will steal it,and possible pests and the waiting waiting was killin me…lol…so there’s draw backs to both I guess?

I agree to much light and maybe not enough lst training aswell and it also looks like you have a calcium deficiency coming on do u have cal/mag if you do i would give it dose of cal/mag in ur water the next feeding
