Are you referring to runoff pH or the pH of your feed? I would expect runoff to be very low at this point in flowering when using FF nutes.

What’s the PPMs in the run off and what’s your watering/feeding routine :love_you_gesture:

I haven’t tested the runoff, wasnt really familiar with doing so. Let me look into it and ill see if i can get it done.

That is a lot of runoff in the pans. Are you keeping them soaked?

Definitely not, i had just watered them. I usually do every 2 or 3 days to allow a dry/wet period.

What size pots are those?

I have destroyed some strains with a long ph problem. The 1 girl all brown looks like she gave up to me.

And as for routine. Usually every 2 or 3 days depending how dry they get. Alternating regular PH adjusted water and nutes

You likely have significant pH problems if using FF nutes and have not yet flushed. FF nutes are notorious for salt buildup. I’d like to see both pH and PPM runoff numbers.

So i normally just test the PH in the concoctions i make. The PH water and Nute water. Both are adjusted between 6.3-6.8. Can this change on its own? I also calibrated my PH meter just to be safe. Sorry, definitely no expert

3 gallon for the auto and 5 gallon for the regular

The idea was to eventually up the non auto to a 8-10 gallon

So to test the runoff, would I just gather the runoff and test with my PH meter?

Not only can it. It will change certainly in the soil with a salt buildup over time.

Correct. Expect it to be very low with a salt buildup.

Fertilizers are salt based. The salts are acidic and bind to the soil and drag down your pH over time. The only way to change it will be to flush the soil. FF soils will revert to a pH of ~6.5 with a good flush. There should be 2 to 3 flushes performed per grow when using FF nutes.

Got it, thank you. I just got the liquid sledgehammer delivered today. Would you recommend stitching nutes?

Stitching? Do you mean stopping or switching? Certainly don’t stop. You might consider switching to Jack’s 321 for nutes. Jack’s doesn’t cause the problem with pH as bad as FF nutes do as it isn’t as “salty” as the FF product.

Sledgehammer is a good product. I use 2 gals of Sledgehammer mix (10ml per gallon) and follow that up with several gallons of plain distilled or RO water. It will correct your pH immediately.

The plants in 3 gallon pots could be root bound. Happen to me once before.

Looking at the plants they appear to be suffering some nutrient excess. Definitely want to get a runoff PH and TDS to know what salt levels are present in the medium.
