Yes but use a Fresh sample and not an accumulation of run off that’s been sitting in the pan from several feedings or watering. Go in at 6.5

Thanks so much guys! Ill get back to you with as much info as possible. Im not sure if my meter is a PH PPM combo, but ill check.

My experience with FF soil was complicated by a bad PH pen. Recovery includes None of the three currently being used, agree, but I am in the zone, finally. Lots of flush, re-dress, good PPM and PH pens, and go for it. Consider flat-top and Re-Veging, after waterboarding and feeding.
