I’m looking for a strain that doesn’t have huge buds. I want something smaller and prettier. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
Topping multiple times will create multiple smaller colas. I’m not aware of any strains that produce smaller flowers. It’s more a function of the grow environment and plant health. Most growers want larger flowers, so there is little demand for such a strain.

Would turning the light down help or will I loose too much density?
Turning down the light wouldn’t make the buds any smaller initially but they’d be fluffy/airy… or they’d stretch out a lot…
Gdp isn’t known for big buds tbh
I fimm big medical plants a lot. Many many smaller flowers. 1 gg no fimm…arm sized main. Gg in a 20 super fimmed…2lbs dry smaller flowers.
What is your goal smaller overall plant or just smaller buds on a 3 foot tall plant.
Just so you know Imo that would mess things up.
A photo with good lst and fimming or topping will produce more smaller flowers. An auto is not recommended to do a ton of training. Easily stunted or forced into flower.
I harvested one GDP - the plant with the 5.7g bud first so I was spoiled. Other than the amount of time it took to trim the small ones, they were great nuggets.
Smaller buds, my buds get so big and got bud rot on one cola.
Ok I grew granddaddy bruce topped twice and the majority of the buds were only about 4 inches long and not that big around. Say between a silver dollar and a quarter. There were so many of them though. I got a pound and a half dry out of a 2x4.
Agree with above statement topping and lst or hst [prefer hst] will get you many many buds that will be smaller.
I don’t know what small is to you but 4 inches to me is small. Most of my buds from other stuff is 12 inches.
Hey just thought Tie stick is smaller sparser buds but not a large producer.

We just spent around 12 hours trimming small buds because I didn’t lollipop the biggest plant this time. She was absolutely loaded with little buds. I’ll never grow another plant without lollipopping it.
@Unexpected I just finished up three gg4 autos. None of them had huge buds. All smaller and extremely dense. I’ve seen some big gg4 bud pics on this forum, but that wasn’t my experience with them.
