Has anyone grown dense homegrown buds?
not me im a outside planter
Good lighting and mastering the basics are the key to dense buds.
Yes, with low humidity and the right amount of light it happens on the regular as long as the cultivar genetics allow for it.
That is the main part!!
All the time. You need good genetics, proper lighting and a grasp of the basics. It then will become routine.
I am growing in a 5x5 with a Vivosun 650 watt light, fabric pots, coco-loco, bio bizz nutes, city water set out for a couple days to de-chlorinate, have three clones, lemon twist, lilac diesel, moon potion all photo period made mistake and added 2 auto flower og kush and lemon haze in same tent but all are growing good
Every grow…this forum is chalk full of photos of dense buds grown using all sorts of growing methods. I grow in Roots Organic Original soil in 10 gallon fabric pots. 2200 watts of lighting in 6X8 growing area.
These produced nearly 1 lb per plant of dense buds. Total for six plants was 5.4 lbs. Four plants were 1 lb and the other two were a few ounces less than a pound.
Those really are beautiful. I’m very new to the weed grow game and I’m so interested in learning. I do see a lot of buds that look dense and good. I also see a lot that end up airy. Not only do I see both in pics but in person and was trying to learn some do’s and don’t from people that know. The other thing is pictures don’t always tell the full story or give justice to the real deal.
Dense buds need light. 200w per plant will get you there. Larfy buds are typically due to underpowered grow spaces. I see folks cram 4-6 plants in a 5x5 with 400-600w of lighting and then they wonder why the bud is fluffy.
Grow light IMO is the #1 purchase we make.
