Has anyone grown dense buds?

In my experience, density is largely determined by genetics. That said, strong lighting and a firm grasp on the basics…training (this one is huge), feeding/watering, and ph all play a huge role too.

I prefer dense rock hard nugs…and gravitate toward strains with that bud structure.

Thanks! I was happy with it. That was an RQS cultivar (sweet skunk). This one is also RQS, but blue cheese. I think I like the high better with the blue cheese.

I have been at this a couple of years now… Very dense tight buds are still a challenge. But getting better…

IMO first time growers tend to harvest early before buds can really stack on some weight, ask me how I know?
Up until this go around outdoors.I was gifted 2 gelato clones. They were on the fluffy side but very good smoke.
Most of my experience’s have been tight rock hard flowers.I favor the heavy indica stains. But as others have stated a lot of factors determine the outcome.Keep reading/asking questions.it’s a learn as you go experience.
Happy Growing

Is it curing techniques or trim bowls? Do they make the structure and look of the buds that come from dispensary?

Is definitely the trim job that makes them look like they do. The cure is to get the rest of the chlorophyll out of the plant and

Leaving you with a more flavorful enjoyable smooth smoke. It also helps to preserve cannabinoids

What do you recommend for last week of flower, dry and cure?

Is that a 4x4? What light wattage are you running? Looking good though!

Oh yes you could. It all depends on the method you use. You could grow 4 big plants in 10-15 gallons pots or up to 25 plants in one gallon pots (sog).

What method do you use?

Myself, I prefer 3 or 4 plants in my 4’ x 4’ because I love to torture them and do tons of High Stress Training. But we have a few growers here that will pack all available space with smaller plants and get tons of diversity when harvest comes. People like @Bunger64 would be a good example of that.
